The rumored collaboration between the two popular shooters has been one of the most surprising crossovers to come to the game. Leaks have suggested that four skins are being added to Battle Royale as part of the rumor Monitoring collab, with previous information specifically pointing to D.Va and Tracer skins. The initial leaks didn't provide a window for the collaboration's release date, with initial theories of the crossover coming with Chapter 7 Season 2's battle pass proving unfounded. New leaks from prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX teased more details about Monitoring collaboration's upcoming release. According to the leak, the aforementioned D.Va and Tracer skins will be joined by two more iconic heroes, adding cosmetics for both Genji and Mercy. The Fortnite skins are expected to be based on the characters' depictions in Overwatch 2with a Porsche Macan SUV also being added to the game along with the skins. HYPEX even gives players an idea of when Monitoring collaboration will launch, with the skins expected to be added to the game sometime in May.

Many have already begun to speculate about a potential second wave of Monitoring skins and mentions characters like Reaper, Widowmaker and Sombra.
