It's no secret that Gojo Satoru, despite being a supporting character, is undoubtedly the face of the entire Jujutsu Kaisen franchise. From the early days of the series, his striking looks and infectious personality set him apart as the most recognizable and beloved character, who also happened to be the most powerful in the setting.
Because of his immense strength, no one had ever been able to challenge him or give him a good enough fight. But at the end of the franchise as a whole, especially with Jujutsu Kaisen Modulofans have gotten a little more insight into the only ones who could possibly defeat Gojo, so let's take a look at who they are.
Jujutsu Kaisen: 8 matches Yuji would lose 100%
Yuji is the main character in Jujutsu Kaisen, but there are some matches that he would definitely lose.
Sukuna is the only one to take down Gojo
The King of Curses
Before we start discussing those who could possibly defeat Gojo, we need to look at the one person who actually did. At the end of the original series, the strongest wizard in modern times went up against the strongest wizard of all time in arguably the greatest battle ever staged in the manga page, ultimately leading to Sukuna's victory.
However, it cannot be said at all that this was an easy fight, as this feud proved to be the biggest challenge in Sukuna's 1000+ years of existence. Using every trick in his playbook and spamming binding vows like they were nothing, Sukuna poured everything he had into narrowly defeating Gojo, not only proving his own strength, but also cementing Gojo's.
Module Yuji is likely the strongest of all time
The Jujutsu Prodigy
One of the biggest surprises Module was not only that Yuji was still alive, but he was still youthful and remained in his prime for all the decades after the end of the original series. Although the series only hinted at his immense strength and true powers, what was shown was easily enough to put him on par with Gojo and Sukuna.

Light (5)Medium (7)Hard (10)
Showing a mastery over techniques like Shrine and Blood Manipulation that even Sukuna didn't, Yuji was able to pull off some crazy feats that showed unparalleled skill in the manipulation and control of Cursed Energy. Many believe that due to all those years of using traces of Sukuna's own power that were in his body, Yuji was able to fully utilize them to become the actual strongest wizard of all time.
Dabura is the most amazing wizard ever
The strongest Simurian
Module introduced the greatest Jujutsu prodigy of all time, who proved to be far above the likes of even Gojo and Higuruma in this regard. Dabura's power is the weaponization of light itself, which not only allows him to manipulate it into powerful beams that can take anything away, but also allows him to move at unfathomable speeds to deal devastating damage.
Of course, the main thing that most people will point to is the fact that Dabura currently has no means to get through Gojo's Infinity. However, considering how he was able to unlock Reverse Cursed Technique, Cursed Technique Reversal, and Domain Expansion in his first serious fight ever, it's unreasonable to assume that Domain Amplification or any other means of bypassing Infinity wouldn't be available to him in a hypothetical fight against the Limitless Wizard.
Takaba could beat anyone if he knew what he was doing
The comedian
In a world full of overpowered wizards with the ability to cut space themselves or have impenetrable barriers protecting them from all harm, the actual strongest ability belongs to someone who doesn't even know how it works. This ability is called The Comedian and belongs to the fan-favorite character, Fumihiko Takaba.
Basically, The Comedian is a reality-warping technique that can do whatever Takaba wants as long as he thinks it's funny. As the series explained, Takaba can even shut down Gojo's Infinity and cause him to spontaneously blow up, marking him as someone beyond a special class threat. The caveat, however, is that Takaba has no idea how this technique works, so he can never really control it.
Jujutsu Kaisen: All 15 domain expansions in the series, ranked
Domain expansions are the strongest applications of Cursed Energy, so let's rank all of them shown in the series.
Honorable Mention: Megumi Fushiguro
Incredible potential
Now for a choice that will surely make some people laugh, Megumi Fushiguro had the potential to be Jujutsu Kaisen's strongest character, and this was stated by Gojo himself. While the hilarious “Potential Man” memes within the community are definitely inclined to show Megumi's trajectory in the story, it should be remembered that the Ten Shadows is one of the strongest techniques.
Gojo recalled a story from many centuries ago when a Ten Shadows user and a Limitless user with Six Eyes fought, leading to their deaths due to Mahoraga's unmatched strength. If Megumi were ever to tame Mahoraga, he could have defeated Gojo, just as Sukuna did herself. Of course, this remains wishful thinking and speculation, but if this is something Gojo himself claimed, then it is categorically true.
