How to find Tofu Survivor in RE9

Have you explored the ruins of the RPD in Raccoon City Center and heard a strange bouncing sound? Don't worry, it's not Mr. X stalking you through the corridors, but instead the Tofu survivor returning to Resident Evil Requiem!

How to find the Tofu Survivor Easter Egg in Resident Evil Requiem

The tofu will spawn in the RPD after about 5 minutes. However, we had the best luck catching Tofu after entering the Chief's Office in the East Wing (2F), which is only possible after a chase sequence that occurs after the Orphanage. Here you can find Tofu:

Outside the south window in the reception
Down the southwest corridor from the West Office
Outside the rubble leading west into the operating room

If you can't seem to get Tofu to play no matter what you do, try going up the stairs to the STARS Office, where you can interact with a beret and pick up two of Barry's Clues (on the jacket and in the locker).

Who is Tofu Survivor?

Tofu Survivor comes from Resident Evil 2 (1998) and Resident Evil 2 (2019), where he is a playable Survivor. The Tofu Survivor is the main character in the parody minigame The 4th Survivor, where Tofu is tasked with escaping without becoming a zombie.

Armed with a knife and wearing his trusty STARS beret, Tofu manages to escape, though it appears this non-cannon Tofu has survived to cannon himself. Tofu is now bouncing around the ruins of the RPD, decades after Raccoon City was destroyed.
