Since the dawn of time, millions have tried to answer a simple question: Who is the strongest Dragon Ball character? Is it Goku? Majin Buu? Frieza? Jiren? It's obviously not Vegeta. Whether through Akira Toriyama's manga or its anime, many contenders have claimed the throne over the decades, many of whom became fan favorites in the process. The thing is that some of the most overwhelmed Dragon Ball characters ever exist beyond the main traits, found in games not as well known as Xenoverse or Sparkling! Zero.
Most fans know Android 21 or Shallot, but they are nowhere near the strongest characters in Dragon Balls extended media. Look a little deeper, and you'll find power packs so broken they can't be made canon. Let's take a look at Dragon Balls spoilers that have only revealed themselves to a handful of fans.
Obviously, some people know these characters, but you have to dive deep into the franchise's non-canon games to meet them.

Zahha is a master manipulator AND extremely powerful
Dragon Ball's legendary wizard
-
Introduced in Dragon Ball Legends
-
Demon Race
Since 2018, Dragon Ball Legends has been one of the franchise's most consistent releases, with the “free” mobile game's action-oriented gameplay echoing the high-octane stakes of the anime. In 2026, the meta has become so messed up that it has become quite difficult to recommend the game to newcomers.
Still, Zahha deserves to be enlightened as Dragon Ball Legendsmain villain. Initially, he is introduced as a noble, blue-skinned magical swordsman from a ruined universe; in fact, he saves and guides Shallot (the main character). But in truth, he's the mastermind behind pretty much everything, including the act of pulling heroes and villains from different eras to stage a blood-soaked proxy war.

The 30 Best Dragon Ball Games of All Time, Ranked
From Budokai to FighterZ, here are the best Dragon Ball games ever made, ranked by fun, depth and how well they capture the spirit of the anime.
Zahha is not just an evil sorcerer; he is driven by a tremendous existential defiance. Thousands of years ago, his home universe was plunged into absolute chaos. He expected divine intervention, but instead Zeno and the gods did nothing. Suffering from survivor's guilt and despising the gods who failed to step up, Zahha sets out to collapse Universe 7 AND take out Zeno.
Zahha's base form is already strong, and he even fights with a unique style centered around telekinetic swords and spatial magic. As a master manipulator who can outwit most people Dragon Ball characters, Zahha's actions are always deliberate and designed to make him strong. His Omniscience Crystal invention can literally distort reality, and he fuses with it to achieve his absurdly strong final form. At that point, he can withstand a barrage of powerful opponents, including beating Super Saiyan Blue Goku and a God of Destruction.

Karoly Black fuses Broly and Goku Black
An illegal merger that should not exist
- Dragon Ball Fusions
-
Fusion of Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose) and legendary Super Saiyan Broly
What happens when you combine two of the most OP villains in Dragon Ball? You get perhaps the most OP monster in franchise history. Dragon Ball Fusions is an absolute goldmine for absurdly powerful characters, especially given its main 5-person fusion gimmick. All of these unique combinations are relatively unknown, but Karoly Black takes things a step further as the fusion only became available when SSJ Rose Goku Black was added as a free update. People who played the game relentlessly at launch may not have been aware of this character's existence.
The base game has Karoly, a mix of Goku and Broly, it's OP as hell of course. Karoly Black is much, much more powerful than the standard version. Because Mergers using the Capsule Corporation's artificial Metamo rings, it completely bypasses the standard limitations of the Metamoran Fusion Dance (such as matching power levels or physical build), allowing two completely incompatible, hyper-aggressive juggernauts to become a permanent unit. While most fusions look either cool or silly, Karoly Black is just downright terrifying, serving as a fantastic combination of its two members.
In terms of pure physical strength, Karoly Black is the strongest Dragon Ball character in this article, but he doesn't quite have the timeline-altering magic of the creatures ranked above him.

Sealas and his fused form shrug off attacks from the strongest Z-fighters

Fused form combines base Sealas with Ahms
Sealas was the very first Time Patroller ever recruited by Chronoa, thousands of years before the likes of Trunks joined the organization. Sealas believed in justice and truly wanted to make a positive difference, but he gradually broke down due to centuries of watching tragedies unfold. Chronoa forbade him to intervene to preserve the main timeline, causing Sealas to turn against the Time Patrol. After being sealed away by Chronoa for his rebellion, Sealas spent millennia planning his return. He didn't just want to conquer a planet; he wanted to do a full multiversal reset.

Dragon Ball: 8 Best God VS God Fights, Ranked
When the gods battle in Dragon Ball, the whole universe can feel it – and there's no telling who wins.
Now we should probably introduce the Ahms, an AI life form created by Sealas. Ahms absorbed the data and DNA of powerful fighters from different timelines, and he opens rifts in history that could allow Sealas to rewrite the space-time continuum and create a perfect universe. When his plan fails, Sealas allows himself to be absorbed by Ahms, creating his most powerful form. In this state, his power is so immense that he effortlessly dodges attacks from a coordinated team of Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and Xeno Trunks. Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Gogeta and the protagonist must work together to defeat him.

Aeos can erase entire timelines
Ultimate Counter to Ultra Instinct
-
Introduced in Dragon Ball Heroes
-
The highest Kai of all time
Don't be fooled by her petite and seemingly harmless appearance; Aeos is not only absurdly powerful, but also icy cold and terrifying. As the Supreme Kai of Time before Chronoa, Aeos wields literal and figurative power, which she uses to commit genocide on a level that goes even beyond Zeno obliterating the universe during the Powernament of Power. Aeos sought to create a true history by obliterating timelines and alternate realities, seeing them as nothing more than trash to be disposed of. She organizes the Super Space-Time Tournament specifically for this purpose, where the losing teams have their entire timelines erased from history. She even created the Warriors in Black, made up of angry fighters from doomed timelines.
Being the original Time God, Aeo's mastery of time mechanics completely overshadows anything standard Dragon Ball Super characters can handle. IN Dragon Ball Heroeseach universe's history is stored in the Time Scrolls, which contain infinite timelines. Aeos can simply pick one of them and burn it. In her strongest form, she becomes incredibly terrifying and can effortlessly freeze people with her magic, and she takes out Chronoa without any real trouble. She also holds her own against Ultra Instinct Goku, though that fight is interrupted by the arrival of Demigra.

Mechikabura can eat multiverses and timelines
A Dragon Ball character so OP He makes every hero and villain seem like Krillin
-
Introduced in Dragon Ball Heroes
-
The Dark King of the Demon Realm
Did you think Towa and Dabura were strong? Well, they have nothing on Mechikabura. The Supreme Kai of the Demon Realm is an ancient sorcerer who spent centuries fighting the Time Patrol. Unlike newer villains who rely on modern technology or standard martial arts training, Mechikabura uses ancient, corrupt Dark Magic. When players first encounter him in the game, he is a withered, decrepit, ancient decaying corpse-like figure bound to a throne. Yet, even in this half-dead state, his passive dark presence is enough to corrupt timelines and warp the minds of incredibly strong fighters across the universe.
In his true, complete form (and once he regains his youth), Mechikabura's power becomes so dense that he essentially becomes a living, cosmic black hole. He begins to physically absorb the space-time continuum into his own body. He can swallow the multiverse as a snack, all in hopes of creating the ultimate dark empire. He punks out Chronoa and Xeno Trunks in an instant and defeats Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegito quite easily (and the latter isn't fighting alone either). Mechikabura basically treats the whole Dragon Ball franchise history as a buffet, and he's so much more powerful than any of the canon villains that it's downright absurd.
