Springs, Eternal Official Trailer teases hauntingly beautiful setting and story

Located in the secluded oasis of Stillwater Springs, Fullbright's Springs, eternal takes players on an exploratory journey through dark, winding wooden paths that surround an eerily dreamlike, fog-shrouded cabin. Players will make their way through the troubled forests and encounter a strange array of guests at the hot spring in the middle of the night. As they progress through the mystifying resort, players will be able to piece together the humanistic and deeply heartfelt memory of the long-forgotten romance that first introduced them to Stillwater Springs. While the paths to uncovering their past are shrouded in ominous darkness, the gradually expanding world will welcome players on an emotional journey of self-discovery and finding their purpose towards the future. Flashbacks will create a portrait of two people who once came together to share a life as one, and players will have to continue to discover what lies ahead.

Springs, eternal offers lo-fi atmospheric graphics to express the almost eerie essence of Stillwater Springs, captured in shimmering pixels and misty fog, while the audiovisual design evokes an experience reminiscent of late 90s PC and home console games for a truly ethereal journey. Players will be able to talk to over a dozen unique characters, including a group of philosophers deep in debate, a tattoo artist who claims to be a seer, and a set of young lovers seeking their destinies. By learning the backstories of each NPC encountered, players will realize that some of the guests' stories overlap with their own and will have to discover what connects them.

A brand new feature is included Springs, eternal not yet offered in previous games by Fullbright is a branching dialogue system, allowing players to discover new threads of conversation and guest interactions spanning the entire resort property. Using smart conversation and observation powers, players will be able to unearth all that Stillwater Springs has to offer. From hidden pools, caves and other quirky attractions around the lodge, new discoveries always await. But players must be careful – the other guests warn of a certain danger lurking in the forest, and a trusty flashlight can illuminate more than just memories hiding in the unknown corners of the dark.

Gamers have long expressed an appreciation for games that prioritize storytelling over high-octane action-packed sequences with tons of fighting and grinding. Fans who enjoy a more casual gaming experience with emotional depth, subtle world-building and simple gameplay have enjoyed Fullbright's previous narrative entries, and Springs, eternal looks to offer a similar experience with its own unique features and new additions. Springs, eternal is available now to wishlist on Steam and is scheduled to launch sometime in 2026.
