World of Warcraft makes Apexis Crystals, Veiled Argunite and Order Resources Warband transferable i Midnight. When the next expansion is released, or possibly just before, World of Warcraft players will be able to freely trade these currencies between their characters.
The Warbands system i World of Warcraft: The War Within is a collection of alt-friendly features added with the expansion's Pre-Patch on July 23, 2024. This system includes many useful aspects, including account-wide reputation, a shared bank, and the ability to transfer certain currencies between characters.
Transfer Apexis Crystals, Veiled Argunite, and Order Resources in WoW: Midnight
Now it seems World of Warcraft: Midnight adds a few more currencies to the list of those that can be shared across the account. Wow content creator MrGM discovered that, as of the latest build of the World of Warcraft alpha, Apexis Crystals, Veiled Argunite, and Order Resources have all been flagged as Warband Transferable. It is currently unclear if these currencies will have a tax when traded or if they will have a 1:1 transfer rate.
Apexis Crystals are used to purchase non-raid gear sets, mounts, companions and other rewards from Warlords of Draenor. Meanwhile, Veiled Argunite is used to purchase various relics and equipment from Thaumaturge Vashreen on Vindicaar i Legionplus Draenei-themed cosmetics and a Hearthstone toy from Gaal after completing the Man'ari customization unlock quest introduced in WoW: Dragonflight. Finally, ordering resources are used to run the class order hall system and purchase items from it, including new housing. Midnight. While order resources can technically be transferred right now via order resource caches, Midnight will make this process much more efficient.
While this feature was found on Midnight alpha, it could technically come before the expansion itself. There's a small chance it could be included as part of Patch 11.2.7, although it wasn't mentioned in the update's official announcement. Alternatively, it can be introduced as part of World of Warcraft: Midnight Pre-Patch, which could arrive on January 27, 2025, if datamined dates from the alpha are correct.
Regardless, these aren't the last currencies that will be made Warband Transferable in World of Warcraft. Blizzard has expressed an interest in making most currencies and rumors from legacy Wow content shared across Warband. While it will probably take many years to make that happen, it can't hurt for fans to start hiding some of these old currencies until World of Warcraft ultimately folding them into the Warband system.
