A bit Is an incredible manga, and that's all thanks to a man, Eiichiro Oda. A bit Has some of the best lore and writings seen in the Shonen series, but of course manganese still has some shortcomings, especially when it comes to characters saved by the action.
It's no secret that Oda hates to kill characters, but there are some extremely strange cases in manganese where the characters were simply saved by the action, and things were a bit meaningful.
Roronoa zoro
ODA created a new drug just to make him back to fight
Zoro is the Swords of Straw Hat Pirates and one of the members who are most involved in battles. Because of that, Zoro is always in bad situations with some powerful opponents.
Zoro has had his share of Plot armor, as expected, in the story. Last Wano, ODA invented a new drug for the plot. This drug was from the minks, and it helped him get back on track to fight his main opponent, King with the only downside that Zoro felt twice as much pain after it had gone off. This was a pretty odd choice and one that made no sense.
Kinemon
Continued attacks he should not have survived
Kinemon was one of the central characters that led to the battle against Kaido and Big Mom in Onigashima. As leader of Red Scabbard, Kinemon led an attack on Kaido and suffered quite serious injuries from direct hits. He even took a conqueror Haki-infused hit against the head from Kaido and was sliced apart.
Other characters among the nine scabbards, such as Ashura or IZO, died from much fewer injuries.
Trafalgar D. Water Law
Used his aroused devil fruit against big mom
Big mom is a scary powerful pirate, because she was one of Yonko. However, under Wano Arc, most characters had their hands full, including Luffy. So taking down Big Mom came back to teams and children. During this battle, the two in some way used their awakened devil fruits, which made no sense to them right now because there was no attitude for it.
Law even refueled some powerful attacks from Big MomSome who should not have been possible at all. Oda Nerfed Big Mom pretty much for this battle, not even her use Conqueror's Haki so that teams and children could make it alive.

Another character that was lucky toward Big Mom
Just as a team, Kid had to fight against Big Mom during the Wano arc A bit. During this battle, Kid also in some way used her devil fruit watch, even though it is not mentioned. This was quite odd, because he had no moments that led to this – even less than the Trafalgar team.
ODA really needed a way to take down linen. Teams and children did not really defeated her. They simply beat her from the floating island Onigashima.
BlackBeard
The action is always on his side
Blackbeard is one of One Piece's main antagonists. But he always gets pretty happy in history. Just like Luffy, Blackbeard was strongly poisoned by Magellan. Normally it would have been where his adventure ended.
However, BlackBeard managed to survive somehow and was treated for the poisoning of Shiryu. There was no antidote to all toxins, as Magellan said, so what happened was never explained by Oda. This is even crazier when taking into account the fact that Luffy needed a miracle from Ivankov to survive the same fate.
Monkey D. Luffy
Luffy came close to death more than once
Luffy is the protagonist of a piece and of course had his own moments where he was rescued by the action. Luffy has, more than once, almost encountered death in A bit.
One of the biggest examples of that in early A bit is his first defeat against Sir Crocodile. Luffy would have died there but was by the water he shot in the air. Luffy also had a connection moment in Impel where he was poisoned by Magellan. He was saved thanks to Ivankov, but it was stated that his life would be reduced because of it.
Pell
ODA's most outrageously false death
Without a doubt, the character that most fans think of when the subject is to be saved only by the action comes up. Pell is one of the loyal servants in the royal family Arabasta. In one of the most essential moments in the Arabasta arch, he chose to sacrifice himself by wearing a giant bomb from the city.
Pell, even though he was the direct goal of the explosion, survived. This is definitely a controversial choice from ODA and the worst false death that the series has seen.
