Optional/situational items
These articles will add either more damage or survival to the building, but buying them is either match-up or preference based:
- Toxic bullets: Your bullets build up a bleeding effect on your enemies, handle the maximum percent HP over time and reduce their healing. Proced the same time as love pieces.
- Spirit Burn: Dealing with enough respiratory injuries in a short time window causes enemies to explode, take damage over time and get healing. Requires 500 Spirit Damage On-Hit to ProC (feasible with stacked love bite procs or rake).
- Cultural victim: Consume a goal NPC to get bonus fire speed, health and ability. Also gives bonus souls when you consume a goal.
- Mysterious vulnerability: Goals take reduced breathing damage when taking respiratory damage.
- Escalating exposure: Goals receive a stacking tooth amplifier that increases the breathing damage they receive from you.
- Counter Spell: Your next Parry also protects you from abilities and objects. A successful Parry heals you while increasing your spirit and movement rate.
- Cold front: Use to release an ice blast that handles respiratory damage and brakes enemies. Can be used when throwing NOX Nostra, and it is good for aggressive games with Sanguine Retreat.
Skill priority and how to play mine in deadlock
Equalization of mine's skills is not as easy compared to any other Deadlock heroes. Her play style revolves around triggering love bites before going in to kill with rake. She depends on both of these abilities equal – After unlocking all her abilities, upgrade love bites twice, Then either Max out rake first for injuries or sanguine retreat for survival.
NOX NOSTRA, Mina's Ultimate, is a weird to use. It makes her fly up in the air and release swarms of bats that take up damage to all the hits. The problem here is that the bats are easily avoided, and each individual bat causes very low damage. To make the most of this you can use Sansanguine retreat To get right in the face of an enemy, let NOX NOSTRA deal with lots of injuries that are difficult to avoid.
But since you become a very simple goal when using NOx Nostra, you need a kind of security network when using it. You can either use the second role of Sanguine Retreat to avoid incoming abilities, or simply wait for enemies to use all their skills and objects before using this. Alternatively, you can use Sanguine Retreat to fly upwards before using NOx Nostra for better coverage.
Colossus and Diviner's Kevlar are good for helping you survive when using NOx Nostra.
