Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 feels rushed

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 is just a few weeks away, and as usual this means that Activision loses teasers to market the next group of content for its flagship franchise. Alongside a very short teaser for Black Ops 6 Zombies' Janus Towers map, which showed odd plant structures and bodies that fell into the massive axles in the buildings, has a minute long history trailer revealed for season 5. And though Call of Duty: Warzone Players are understandably focused on Avalon, which is shown at the end of the pictures, those who care about the series Lore are more confused than anything else.

While it remains to be seen if Avalon is used purely for some Black Ops 7 Multiplayer maps or treated as a full-scale Battle Royale Playspace, what is clear is that the ongoing story apparently has skipped its large climax. Season 4 had been built up to a battle between the Pantheon fraction and the seam, Black Ops Cold WarPowder after launch that had been liberated in a last-dike effort to get the upper hand. However, in War zone Season 5 teaser, two huge details are glossed over. Not only is Stitch nowhere to see, which makes the fans wonder what happened to the charismatic masked antagonist, but the Pantheon has apparently been dismantled outside the screen. This feels enormously rushed and anti -limactic, as it is like a season's value of story has been handed out. However, the bigger problem is that Pantheon's silent defeat retroactively Black Ops 6S campaign worse.

With Black Ops 7 revealed so soon, maybe Treyarch and Raven lacked time and resources to properly show Stitch and the gang dismantling Pantheon. Although this is pure speculation, Bo7 Is just around the corner, so it is not unrealistic to think that the story can be rushed to make room for that game.

Call of Duty: Warzone's Season 5 teaser playing with fire

Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Bo6 now have a teaser movie, with a special aspect that gives more questions than it answers.

Black Ops 6's campaign leaving Pantheon for later may have been an even greater mistake than meeting the eye

While Black Ops 6The campaign was really strong and contributed to Bo6Impressive reviews, it wasn't without its flaws. Yes, it may have had any varied assignment design, interesting concepts like Safehouse and genuine surprises, but its end left something to be desired. Players remained with a cliffhanger for Bo6 ongoing chapters War zone story, as much as Black Ops Cold WarHeroes Like Woods and Adler only achieved partly their goal. The Pantheon was still at large, and which was indicated by the final shot of the closing cinematic, the group had even infiltrated the CIA. The players were left and wondered what was the next and who the mysterious character was (it turned out to be the multiplayer operator Caine, which was a rather unsatisfactory disclosure in his own right).

At that time, this end was a spot in an otherwise strong single playful position, as it felt like players were hearing an incomplete story. However, fans could overcome that disappointment by holding on to the hope that the story after launch would be engaging and interesting. Black Ops Cold War After all, had taken a similar approach, and although many may still have preferred a more complete story that did not demand that they searched the rest of the story on Youtube, it was the game's story after launch satisfactorily thanks to Adler and Stitch's dynamics. Unfortunately, while it seemed like Bo6S War zone The story really began to pick up, it has fallen off a cliff just as quickly because of this unfortunate season 5 teaser. This only does Bo6Applicants end more frustrating, as it now feels pointless to have kept Pantheon going.

Black Ops 6's campaign will always be akin to Pantheons silent end

Perhaps there will be a proper CGI movie released closer to the launch of War zone Season 5 showing that Pantheon is dismantled by Stitch and gives the fans' closure, but from now on this teaser is that all fans must continue. Given that Pantheon's fate has been spoiled by the current teaser's dialogue, it is also difficult to imagine such a cinematic that hits so hard if it happened. Whatever the reason behind the scenes why the story suddenly feels rushed, it makes a bear that not just this era of War zoneand Black Ops 6S campaign.

Players playing through Bo6 In the coming years, undoubtedly will feel confused by its end, but when they look for what happened to Pantheon, they will not meet with an exciting movie showing how the heroes won the day. Instead, they will find a short line of dialogue and a tweet that says “Pantheon has collapsed”, with the rogue group of hand -waved and defeated off the screen as if they were not so big of a threat in the first place. Stitch's commitment still feels stranger now, with it coming out as the villain was brought back clean to sell skins and without any real plans for him in addition to the first comeback. In a way, it would have been better for him to stay dead, as Stitch's sudden disappearance after the prison crime has cheaper its great “death” scene from Black Ops Cold War. If this really is how Pantheon's story ends, then two Black ops The stories of the game will have been injured, and it is a shame.
