Homelander is the main antagonist of The boysand the best way to describe him would be to call him a violent and unstable Superman variant. He possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, stamina, flight, and heat vision, and while he could decimate most anime characters in a one-on-one fight, there are some more extreme ones that could take him.

Several of these characters are villains in their respective universes, but an unlikely professional hero can also beat the comic book antagonist. Some of these familiar faces could beat Homelander with a single attack, but others would have to be a little more creative. One main character, in particular, could hit Homelander with a notebook.

Saitama would destroy Homelander with a single punch

There are quite a few anime protagonists with god-like power, and Saitama from One Punch Man is one of them. Saitama possesses immeasurable superhuman strength, reflexes, speed, and durability, all of which surpass the Homelanders. Saitama has fought creatures that can vaporize cities in an instant without suffering any physical damage, so it's reasonable to assume he wouldn't even feel one of Homelander's punches.

Homelander's heat vision can easily cut through flesh and bone, but if he used it on Saitama, it would likely do nothing more than burn a few holes in Saitama's suit. Saitama can destroy any creature with a single blow. There have been times when his opponent has survived such an attack, but it has only happened because Saitama intentionally held back. As durable as Homelander is, Saitama would blow his body apart with a maximum powerful punch.

Anos possesses the magical eyes of destruction, which have the power to destroy everything in his line of sight.

All Anos would have to do is watch Homelander, and the battle would be over. If for some reason that doesn't work, Anos can simply summon his sword, Venuzdonoa. Even with his superhuman senses, Homelander shouldn't be able to detect Mu. Sure, Homelander's X-Ray Vision could work, but only if he already suspected Mu was nearby.

Mu is one of only two ninjas who can use Dust Release, a Kekkei Tota that allows him to create three-dimensional shapes that rapidly move and expand. If the Homelander gets caught in one of these objects as it expands, his body will disintegrate on a molecular level almost immediately. All Mu has to do is hide his presence, wait and hit the Homelander with a surprise Dust Release attack. That should be enough to turn the mighty villain to dust.

Kai Chisaki is able to blow Homelander's body apart with her Overture ability

Kai Chisaki is a former Yakuza leader who wields one of the My Hero Academias most destructive quirks. Overhaul gives Kai the ability to take apart anything he touches with his hands, and he can put things back together as he pleases. Basically, Kai has the power to manipulate matter himself, and since Homelander's body is made of physical matter, it will definitely work on him. That said, it will be very risky as Kai would have to get within range of the Homelander.

If Kai touches Homelander for even a fraction of a second, his Overhaul Quirk will activate and blast Homelander's superhuman body to pieces. Given the opportunity, Kai can use his quirk to absorb Homelander and all of his powers. Kai can make things a little easier on himself by touching the earth and creating stone barriers and restraints that would stop the Homelander long enough for Kai to touch him with his Quirk.

Ryuk is the most important Shinigami in Death Note. Normally Homelander wouldn't be able to see Ryuk unless he's holding or using Ryuk's Death Note, but for this matchup it's best to assume Homelander can see him. Unfortunately, this wouldn't do much to help the Homelander as Ryuk is immune to all forms of physical damage, meaning any of the Homelander's attacks would be useless.

Ryuk can see the Homelander's true name thanks to his Shinigami eyes. If Ryuk writes this name in his Death Note, the Homelander will suffer a fatal heart attack after 40 seconds. Ryuk can write a more creative death in his notebook, but just writing the name would be the fastest way. Death Note's power is absolute, meaning it completely bypasses Homelander's durability.

Lelouch is able to force Homelander to destroy himself by using his Geass

Lelouch is the protagonist of Code Geass and one of the most popular Shonen characters of the 21st century. He may be a genius and a master strategist, but Lelouch is still an ordinary human, meaning Homelander would easily tear him apart. Fortunately, Lelouch has a supernatural eye ability called “Geass”. With it, Lelouch can plant a command into the Homelander's mind.

This ability is triggered by direct eye contact, meaning Homelander would not be able to dodge it in time. Lelouch can only issue one command per person, so he would have to make it count. He can order Homelander to fly into space and die via lack of oxygen, or he can order him to drown himself by flying into the ocean and stay there. A simpler command would be to order Homelander to punch a hole through his own chest.

As a naval admiral, Kizaru is one of the strongest characters in the One Pieceand he has one of Final Saga's strongest Logia-type Devil Fruits. Glint-Glint Fruit gives Kizaru the ability to create and control light. He can also turn into light whenever he wants. Like most Logia users, Kizaru benefits from intangibility, meaning most attacks not infused with Haki phase through his body safely.

Since Homelander cannot use Haki, neither his punches nor heat visions would affect Kizaru. It should be noted that Kizaru can move at the speed of light, which is much faster than Homelander's max speed, so there's a good chance Homelander would never touch him anyway. The power of Kizaru's light kicks would be enough to hurt Homelander. Kizaru's lasers are made of pure light and can penetrate practically anything, including the Homelander's durable body, so a few well-placed shots would take him down.
