Eight years after the launch of Nintendo Switch, Nintendo is now closer than ever to release its long -awaited new system, Nintendo Switch 2. While this new console handkeeping will give lots of excitement to all kinds of players, the Zelda Franchise can get started with a fairly slow start to the system, with just a few smaller titles that will arrive at the first year of the system. However, this is certainly not bad news, and it only opens the door for the latter part of the system's life to become even more exciting for Zelda fans.

Zelda's slow start to Switch 2 creates excitement for its later life
Although this may seem to be a slow start for Zelda Games on Nintendo's new platform, it is quite understandable that the publisher will not have much new Zelda Content ready to go at Switch 2's launch. After all, The Legend of Zelda: Tears from the Kingdom has only turned two years old, and Nintendo just launched a new main line Zelda Games last year, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Thus it seems likely that the publisher is currently silently working on the next Zelda Adventure, and it can still be a few years out.
It's not all bad news Zelda will not have a big new game directly on Switch 2. All it means is that the system is founded to have a fantastic, AAA Zelda games sometime later in its lifetime, and that Nintendo simply does not rush to take advantage of Zelda hype the following titles such as The tears of the kingdom and Wisdom echo. Nintendo is already set to bring several major franchises to Switch 2 early in his life, with games like Mario Kart WorldThe Donkey Kong Bananzaand Kirby Air Riders Set to bring hype in the first year of the system.
Nintendo will continue to receive Zelda -Goodness in the meantime
ZeldaPresence will undoubtedly be felt on Switch 2, even if a big new game is not ready to go directly outside the bat. Beyond persistent rumors that titles such as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be released in a remastered form, rumors have also circulated it Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will get a new recording on the new system. Nintendo is not stranger to post release of classic Zelda Games for tidal fans until larger new items are ready to go, and Switch 2 should not prove different.
Given how many games Zelda Fans have come up with Nintendo Switch over their life, the wait for a large new title on Switch 2 can prove to be quite long. With that said, Nintendo fans will still have plenty of Zelda Enjoying the new system, thanks to its backward compatibility with current Switch games and spin-off and release that will arrive this year. Although the next AAA Zelda The title is still a few years out, Nintendo is likely to continue to experiment with the franchise and offer many options to tidal fans in the meantime.
