Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game's mechanics are so hard to learn that it looks like even the CPU is struggling with its more difficult combo attempts.
One of the biggest strengths of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is that it is not afraid to challenge the player with its more technical and fast-paced mechanics. Avatar may have been aimed at younger audiences originally, but The Fighting Game makes it abundantly clear that it expects to some knowledge level and mastery.
There are some welcome mechanics like car combos, and I wouldn't say you needs to be an expert member of FGC to enjoy it, but going beyond story mode will take some work. That's become even clearer now that a viral clip has surfaced showing that even the CPU can't quite handle its more complicated attempts.
Avatar Legend's own computer messes up its combo challenges
If you demand perfection, you better deliver it
One of the main things players have said about Avatar Legends since it launched yesterday is that it's a pretty hardcore fighter overall. That's mostly a good thing that fighting game fans appreciate, but there are some instances where it goes a bit far, like genre-standard combo attempts.
Each character in Avatar Legends has a bunch of combo attempts for the player to complete, and even the easiest level can be quite difficult. Turns out it's not just the player that's having a hard time, as Twitter user CosmonautMarcus shared a clip showing that even the computer doesn't quite get them right.
In the video, the processor is shown trying to demonstrate one of Zuko's master attempts, getting it almost completely wrong in the process. The computer is shown getting the wrong combinations several times in the clip and continues as if nothing happened. It's quite funny that the player is then expected to get it right, even though the game itself seemingly can't do it.
I can't even reach the master level tests and found that even getting the combo right doesn't always pass them, so I'm not too surprised to see the computer acting up.
