Yemen airline resumes Sanaa-Jordan flights, banks rejoin global network under new deal

AL-MUKALLA: Yemen's national carrier resumed flights from the Houthi-controlled city of Sanaa to Jordan on Thursday, while the International Wire Transfer System reconnects Sanaa's banks to its network after an agreement was reached between the Yemeni government and militias. Yemenia Airways said in a statement that three flights were scheduled to leave Sanaa airport for Amman on Thursday, and that it was seeking permission for flights from the same airport to Egypt and India.
