Xilonen Ascension Mats: Complete list of ascension and talent materials

First revealed in one of the Genshin Impacts Natlan teasers, Xilonen is now a playable character, and she's a cool cat. With a pair of fashionable roller skates, an iconic outfit and some mad DJ skills, Xilonen is a great character that many hope to add to their teams. A Geo sword character, she joins Albedo and Chiori for weapon and element combo.

Descended from the Nanatzcayan tribe of Natlan, also known as the Children of Echoes. Kachina is a character most people will know, coming from the same tribe.

Players hoping to scale the Xilon and level up their talents will need quite a few materials, most of which can be found in Natlan. This guide will describe all of these materials for the Xilon Ascension and talent enhancements, and how to obtain them.

Each Genshin Impact character uses the same amount of EXP between each ascension threshold, with over 8 million needed to reach level 90, which is the highest possible. Here's the breakdown, as well as the Mora cost:

Gemstones – Where to find Prithiva Topaz

The Geo gemstone is the Prithiva Topaz and is used by all Geo characters in their ascension. It can be found in a number of ways, but the easiest way to obtain large amounts of it is by defeating certain bosses. These are the bosses that can release Prithiva Topaz:

Local specialty – where to find brilliant chrysanthemums

The Xilon is the first released character to use the Brilliant Chrysanthemum, which is a beautiful pink-orange flower found only in Natlan.

Many of these flowers can be harvested around the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, in the lower part where the swampy moat-like river is, around the stadium. There are also a handful of them on Huitztli Hill, including the northernmost section around a handful of enemy camps.

Boss Drop – How to get gold inscribed secret source core

Unfortunately, the Xilon uses a boss drop from a currently unreleased boss. We will of course update this post with its location when version 5.1 is released. As of now, we can say that the item is called Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core, and it comes from a boss called Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device. This boss will be in Natlan somewhere!

Enemy Drop – Where to find Sauroform Tribal Warrior Whistles

Like the Kachina before her, the Xilon uses the common items dropped by Sauroform Tribal Warriors in both her ascensions and talent upgrades. These whistles come in three qualities, with higher level enemies able to drop higher quality items.

Xylon Talent Materials

It's not known why, but the Xilon is strangely using a trounce material from the Scaramouche boss fight. Regardless, she'll need a handful of Mirrors of Mushin to upgrade her talents, as well as a few other items detailed here. For a text version of the Xilon's talent material, click here.

Talent books – Kindling

The talent series Xilonen uses are the Kindling books. These are found in Natlan's Blazing Ruins domain on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Trounce Materials – Mirror of Mushin

Ignoring how weird it is, Xilon's trounce material is the Mirror of Mushin, which is dropped by the Scaramouche boss fight, also known as Joururi Workshop. This trounce domain, located in Sumeru, can be unlocked by completing Akasha Pulses, Kalpa Flame Rises in the Sumeru Archon Quest (Chapter III, Act V).
