Change has joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Content catalog. This day-one title is the seventh new addition to Microsoft's subscription service in June 2025 and the 68th Xbox Game Pass Ultimate edition since the beginning of the year.
Change is a sci-fi survival game made of 11 bit studios, a Polish developer with several highly acclaimed titles to its name. The Warsaw-based company made a name for itself with This war of meA survival strategy game 2014 that won over 100 awards. Since then, the studio Victorian City Builder launched Frost punk and its sequel 2018 and 2024 respectively. Both met with a very favorable response from both fans and critics, with Frostpunk 2 Even won the best Sim / Strategy Game Honor at Game Awards 2024.

Look at its early critical reception, Change Is the highest ranked day an addition to Microsoft's content catalog of several months. It currently has a “mighty” grade on OpenCritic, with an average score of 86 and a 93% review recommendation. Change Throws players like Jan Dolski, a space miner who is on a very inhospitable plane. On a constant driving from the sunrise and its deadly radiation, Dolski uses a material called Rapidium to create alternative versions of himself by looking at his past and imagining different choices he may have made. In this way, he can effectively get help from a botanist, technicians, researchers and many other cloned experts. These titular “changes” will not necessarily agree with each other, which means to deal with their wishes and needs an important part of gameplay loop, which also affects Change'Storytelling. In addition, the game has base building, presented from a 2D perspective in a way reminiscent XCOM and Falling protection.
When does Alters Xbox Game Pass Stander reach?
Because it's a day-one title, Change is currently only available for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers. Based on Microsoft's typical release pattern, 11-bit studio's latest title can be added to the XGP standard directory between December 2025 and June 2026. If Microsoft only licensed it for a year-which is a fairly typical length of a Xbox game pass for third party titles-Change are more likely to join the XGP standard library closer to the start of that window.
