Microsoft has started rolling out Xbox June 2025 update over Xbox One, Series X/S, PC and Xbox Mobile App. The new Xbox update introduces better UI options, additional cloud gaming features, easier discovery for benefits in the game, a consolidated PC game library and more.
In recent years, Microsoft has steadily extended the Xbox Ecosystem to venture beyond the traditional console. With initiatives such as Game Pass, Play Anywhere and Cloud Gaming, leading the charging, the gaming giant has worked to combine the Xbox experience over platforms such as Series X/S, PC and Mobile, with monthly updates that lose all of them at the same time. Since last year, Microsoft has also ported Xbox games to competing platforms such as PS5 and Nintendo Switch, which clearly signals that the brand's future will not be limited to a single platform.

After updating April 2025, which enabled the power your own gaming library on Xbox consoles, this month's update is quite larger in scope. The timing of these additions is a bit curious, as they come shortly after the latest reports claimed that Xbox is working on a huge emulation platform for their classic titles. This would not only make older games that are playable on modern hardware, but also give them graphic upgrades, fix bugs and glitches, etc. But none of this are officially confirmed, so the Xbox fans should take such rumors with a grain.
