World of Warcraft finally adds customizable campsites to Warband's character selection screen in Patch 11.1. While the update doesn't have a release date yet, campsites will be another type of collectible that players can acquire starting with the new World of Warcraft update.
War bands in World of Warcraft is a collection of quality-of-life improvements that Blizzard has described as “account-wide everything.” In addition to shared progress, reputation and transmog unlocks, the Warbands system has also revamped the character selection screen to allow four characters to pose together around a single campsite.

World of Warcraft shares a handy map of rare spawns on Siren Isle
World of Warcraft is sharing a helpful map showing where fans can find various rare spawns on Siren Isle in The War Within Patch 11.0.7.
But in Patch 11.1 the character selection screen will get some major overhauls like World of Warcraft fans have been looking forward to since before Warbands were first introduced The war within. In Undermined, players will be able to unlock new camping backgrounds for their character selection screen, tracked via the combo box. The ones players have collected will be accessed and displayed from the menu button at the top of the character selection screen, where they can also set some as favorites, or even randomly drop in between some or all of their unlocked campsites.
If that's not enough, players will be able to save their characters in up to 20 different camp groups, each of which can be named or customized individually. Since players cannot currently have 80 characters on their accounts, presumably a single toon will be able to appear in multiple campsites at the same time.
In addition to this feature, a number of other quality of life and accessibility improvements are also coming in Patch 11.1. The Quest Log box receives several new UI elements, including an events tab to keep track of world activities. Additional support for tracking and sorting add-ons will be implemented, and the newly updated stable will gain a drop-down menu that allows one to change their pet's specialization, ostensibly allowing them to set any Hunter pets in World of Warcraft they want, regardless of mechanics.
These improvements and more, including some significant class changes, will be available as part of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1. The update itself is expected to arrive sometime in February, but players can look forward to its arrival in the Public Test Realm early next year. The new Warbands character select screen customizations will likely arrive in one of the first PTR builds, so fans won't have to wait long to see what the different campsites look like and how the system itself works.
