Why magic feels like a missed opportunity in the series

At the beginning of the series, Chairman mentions the application of magical stones for technology and energy, but this is not really investigated properly. Most often, magic is seen as the power source for strong armor and equipment. For example, why do doctors dare into dungeons when they could spend their time making a fortune to heal people with their miraculous powers? Couldn't Mages apply their elementary magic to revolutionize manufacturing techniques?

Unfortunately, the story is focused on Sung Jinwoo's journey to acquire power. This often leaves the world -building only the set dressing found in the background of Jinwoo's struggle. It would have been interesting to see how magic has changed Korean society a decade after awakening of hunters and for the show to introduce more applications for mana and magical magic formulas. It seems like all the cool abilities went to Jinwoo and left to leave to walk around for the other characters and even the world of Solo department one.
