Kuzan has witnessed the Navy's atrocities in one piece
He also lost the fleet Admiral to the reckless Akainu
Kuzan, as formerly Admiral, was originally one of the strongest members of the Navy in A bit. As a navy for a good time, Kuzan has participated in many of the terrible things that the Navy has done, including Buster Call on Ohara. But Kuzan, in his core, is a kind person. For example, he chose to spare Robin at Ohara and gave her a second chance in life. Still, during the Buster call, Kuzan witnessed his colleague Future Navy, Sakazuki, drops a ship by civilians who would originally leave the island.
What is called “justice” changes its form … depending on where you stand. – Kuzan
Later, after the events in Marineford, Kuzan and Sakazuki met for the new position as the Navy Admiral in the Navy. Unfortunately, Kuzan lost the battle, which led to his departure from the Navy, which would now be controlled by his bitter rival. From here, Kuzan joined the crew of the BlackBeard pirates, even went as far as to do some pretty villain things, such as kidnapping pudding or fighting against Garp.

He can simply be so broken with the Navy that he turns to them

Why a bit does not need fights to be cool
Although some fans think differently, a bit does not need to be cool.
But at the same time, although some fans feel that his transition came out of the blue, Kuzan has to become a villain already plenty of motivation. Mainly throughout his career in A bit The Navy, Kuzan has witnessed countless atrocities committed by the corrupt system, of which some he himself had to do. Seeing an extremely hard and cruel figure that Sakazuki takes over the Navy may have been the last straw for him, which led to Kuzan joining a pirate crew simply to try to take down the current world order.
Kuzan might try to take down the Navy with BlackBeard
This may be a chance to punish them for their crimes
Although some fans may be looking for more, this feels like enough motivation for Kuzan to become a villain in A bit. Although joining BlackBeard's crew can be a step too far, as well as kidnapping pudding or fighting against Garp, after witnessing the horror from both ohra and marine chords, at this time, a villain seems more reasonable than actually staying on the side of the marinas. Especially with Sakazuki responsible, Kuzan can only be upset by the current status of the Navy overall.
And remember this: I am not your allies … If you do anything I am the “enemy” which will be the first to capture you. – Kuzan
In the end, Kuzan, which is a bitter pirate and enemy of the Navy at this point in A bitFeels perfectly reasonable. His journey through the marinas was full of atrocities, both witnessed and engaged by him. Although it is likely that there will be a deeper reason for Kuzan to join BlackBeard Pirates, in reality he does not need more motivation than he has already done. In fact it might be better if, at the end of A bitKuzan had simply become bitter over the years.
