Fishing is a fun activity in Metaphor ReFantazio that allows you to sit on the port side of the ship's deck to get rare cooking ingredients.
Unlock remaining trophies
There is a total of 44 trophies/achievements in Metaphor ReFantazio which players can unlock. While most of them are unlocked automatically as you progress through the game, others are tied to specific collectibles, side quests, and activities.
After reaching the end of the story and just before the game's final boss, players can unlock their missing trophies by exploring the world and completing the events associated with them. This is a great way to get Platinum/all trophies in your first playthrough.
Increasing ranking of followers
Players will be able to recruit 14 followers to their squad throughout its journey in Metaphor ReFantazio. Even if you have unlocked all the followers, it is possible that you may not have raised all their followers' ranks to max (level 8).
Increasing your followers' rankings includes interesting side activities that include various dialogue options. These interactions give players a deeper appreciation of a follower's motivations and personality.
In addition to the knowledge, you will also unlock new abilities and archetypes for the characters that you can try to use against enemies or in combat challenges.
Taking on the Varmareno Coliseum
Players looking for combat challenges can watch Port Brilehaven's Varmareno Coliseum in Metaphor ReFantazio. It's a great arena to test out your new gear or follower combos before facing the final boss.
The Colosseum has different challenges that scale in difficulty, but also in rewards. The escalating challenges put players' skills to the test by pitting them against a variety of bosses.
Witness all endings
Metaphor ReFantazio have total 4 endings to the story, but don't expect a shiny cutscene at the end of each. There is a good ending and the other 3 are all bad endings that happen as a result of a conversation gone bad with an in-game character.

- The prince's bad end: Refuse to hear the truth from the “mysterious voice” in the Ancient Eldan Sanctum on 9/24.
- Louis Bad Ending: Selecting the “You're absolutely right” dialog during a conversation with Louis at the end of the Skybound Avatar main operation.
- More bad ending: During the final battle with Louis on the Tyrant's Star, the protagonist agrees with More's thoughts after being rescued.
- True/good ending: After defeating Louis once and for all by answering his questions correctly on 10/26.
Tends to leftover side quests and bounties
It's over 70 side missions in Metaphor ReFantazioand you are bound to miss some of them as you move towards the end of the game.
Just before entering the final confrontation with Louis, players can choose to return to their backlog of side quests waiting to be completed. Page quests in Metaphor ReFantazio are quite fleshed out, each with a unique objective and an interesting conversation with quest-giving NPCs.
They're fun to look for and complete, making them a great activity to invest time in before or after beating the game.
Start the journey again
Metaphor ReFantazio offers a New Game Plus mode for players who want to start another journey through the game. Most of the resources and items will carry over in this new walkthrough, making the journey a bit easier from the start.
For players looking for a challenge, they can opt for the newly unlocked Regicide Difficulty mode that will put their skills to the test right from the start of the game. There is also a secret boss that is the toughest in the game, which you can discover after checking out the books in the Akademeia. But you really don't want to go into this boss fight unprepared.
