Where to find all the cats in Shibuya
Who doesn't love cats? Sure you may have allergies, but that doesn't make cats any longer cute. They're adorable, and almost every game is enhanced by their mere presence. Reynatis knows this and has sprinkled cats all over the length and breadth of Shibuya.

Video game that lets you play a cat
Not every video game in the world has the distinction of letting players play as an adorable cat, but these ten games share that honor.
While it may not be a goal in itself, seeking out the many cats in Shibuya so you can pet them should be a self-made goal. It even comes with some benefits for the party, but that's just icing on the cake. Without further ado, here's where to find all the cats in Reynatis.
What does interaction with cats do?
Petting a cat is obviously a reward in itself, although this being a video game is an added benefit in its place. Petting cats in Reynatis significantly reduces your stress. They are just like the real thing in that respect.
Stress is a system in Reynatis that when it increases, decreases your defense but increases your attack power. At its highest levels, you'll take dramatically more damage, even if you go down in battle just as easily. At zero Stress, you even get a defense boost.
Even with their locations in mind, cats don't always show up eitherso you can't always rely on them as a reliable method of reducing stress. Again, just like real cats.
It is a safer method to
use drinks from vending machines
around Shibuya to reduce your stress in a jiffy.
Where to find all the cats in Shibuya
The cats in Reynatis are elusive. They only occur in Shibuyabut are also not exactly guaranteed. While some stay in their places permanently, others seem to move around the city while more are only present for a short time, never to be seen again.
As such, we cannot guarantee when or if you will see these cats, although there is nothing at stake if you don't see them either. It's like a treasure hunt where the treasure can move. Anyway, here are the locations for each cat that we could find.
The many cats in Reynatis are
completely unmarked and untracked
so this may be a non-exhaustive list.
Shibuya Scramble Crossing
This cat is found in the northern part of Scramble Crossingon the opposite side of the road to building 109. It is next to a set of vending machines.
Dogenzaka alley
This cat is nestled far away from the main road to Dogenzaka alley. In the small side path that leads to Babushka Woods, there is an even smaller path to the left. You'll find a cat here on top of the air conditioner.
Hachiko Exit bicycle parking
In the south side of Hachiko Exit bicycle parkingthis little guy will be sitting on top of a moped near the small alley that leads further south.
MEA HQ Entrance
In the north side of MEA HQ Entrance area, this guy is sitting next to a tree near a raised flower bed. This is behind a truck and opposite the nearby smoker.
Northern Miyashita Park
On the west side of Northern Miyashita Parkyou can find a cat tucked behind a metal gate near some vending machines. They're not quite within your reach, so you have to be at a pretty specific angle to pat them. Worth the effort though.
Shibuya Center Street
This little kitten is potentially one of the first cats you may encounter in Reynatis. When you enter the alley Shibuya Center Street where the very first Fog Gate to Dominus Forest is located, you can find a cat tucked in the corner next to a set of air conditioning units.
Shibuya Station West Exit Sidewalk
This cat can be found in Shibuya Station West Exit Sidewalk sitting by the elevator near the area crossing leading to Shibuya Stream Square. They have to wait for an elevator back down to the streets.
Shibuya Stream Square
Another cat that loves to pull a disappearing act, they can usually be found between a tree and a traffic cone on the western edge of Shibuya Stream Square.
Spain Hill
This creature can be found hidden behind a metal gate, tempting you to pet it. They can be found halfway through Spain Hill and on the left side. You'll find them by the big white cookie shop sign next to them.
There may be even more cats hiding out there across Shibuya, just waiting to reduce your stress in exchange for a few head scratches. This is a much more important mission than Marin becoming the strongest wizard.
