5 Reincarnated as a space monster

Not the weirdest of the bunch, but still a tough pill to swallow

In Reincarnated As An Evolving Space Monster Cover 1

  • Genres: Sci-Fi, Action, Gore, Terror, Isekai, Xenofiction
  • Author: FearTurtle (Gongpouigeobug-i)
  • Artists: FearTurtle (Gongpouigeobug-i)

Reincarnated as a space monster is every Ridley Scott fan's dream come true, and the story of one of those fans who always played as the monster, who is suddenly transported into the game world to play as the larva of one of these Xenomorphs.

It begins to eat a cat (much like in Foreign movie) and then leaves and slaughters the entire crew. But then things get really weird: there are space pirates, a secret organization, political conspiracies and powerful alien-human hybrids hunting him. Definitely not the weirdest out there, but filled to the brim with gore and some baffling plot holes better ignored if readers want to enjoy the story. Take it with a pinch of salt.

4 Seoul's Station Druid

Zombies, Vampires, Wuxhia Elves, And A Bird-Man: Whacky Is The Word

6 Best Female Tsundere Characters in Manhwa, Ranked

Tsunderes are tough on the outside yet loving on the inside. Here are some memorable females in manhwa that started off cold and gradually warmed up.

The story gets weirder and weirder by the minute as zombies invade, then there are vampires who invade, and after that, creatures that look like elves but live in a Wuxhia world where there is no magic but only martial arts. Somewhere between the International Awakener tournament and the fact that this guy loves to turn into a bird, all sanity and coherence have been lost. But the story is still worth a try if readers love overpowered characters with strange abilities.

3 Crimson Karma

Perhaps one of the weirdest Isekai of all time

Kasiya in Crimson Karma

  • Genres: Isekai, Mystery, War, Reincarnation, Drama, Romance, Gender-Bender
  • Author: Lemon frog
  • Artist: Emongeguri

Girl Meets Boy, but with a twist: he's sent to kill her, but they end up killing each other. Now, with a broken memory, she is sent to a world of sword and sorcery, in the middle of a succession war between two princes. Then there's a mage who wants her dead for some reason, and it turns out he's the reincarnation of the killer. It's all too convoluted, and the plot is a mess. But the story somehow comes together somewhere in the middle.

For moments it's a romantic comedy, and then it goes back to a political drama. The characters don't really know what they want, but they find themselves in the strangest situations and struggle between them for the love of a woman they barely know, and who, in all honesty, could be there to kill them both. She is actually meant to kill them and end the war, but she stubbornly refuses to keep killing. No one knows what they want in this story, and the action spirals into a strange kaleidoscope of teenage drama staged by awkward adults who are supposed to be powerful political leaders.

2 The earl of the Count's family

Filled with strange creatures and characters

  • Genre: Isekai, Drama, Comedy, Fantasy
  • Author: Elegant (Yoo Ryeo Han)
  • Artist: Elegant (Yoo Ryeo Han)

The story begins with a young Korean worker who is addicted to a certain series of novels, and when he goes home from work, he ends up being sent by truck-oppa to the same world where his favorite characters live. Only that he is reincarnated as a lazy member of a count's family, despised by all. But as the story progresses, he stands to correct that by doing some “optimization” in the plot. All with the sole purpose of living a comfortable life.

4 Things Beginning After Ending Anime Can Do Differently Against Manhwa

The Beginning After The End's anime will be released in 2025. Here are four things it may do differently from the Manhwa.

Why does it get weird? Well, first there are talking foxes that can turn into children, then a talking dragon, then talking whales that also happen to be humanoid. There are an awful lot of talking animals that can change into human form. So, yes, there are lots of weird situations, but the story is quite wholesome and filled with good friendship moments.

1 Restores Lady

Things get messy with the plot and really weird

  • Genres: Psychological Drama, Fantasy, Mature, Romance, Tragedy, Reincarnation, Slasher
  • Author: Baekwoo
  • Artists: Cha Seo-Jin, Taegong

At one point this was a reincarnation manhwa, then it was about time travel, and now it's some kind of psychological time loop where the main character has decided to murder everyone she loves, including her father. The worst part? The father agrees with her. So now it's kind of an Isekai Slasher, if we had to define it somehow.

The plot is a mess, the author doesn't know where the story will go next, and neither do the readers. But that doesn't mean it's all bad. There are good romantic moments, despite the murderous yandere main character who wants to break free from an endless century of reliving her life until her 19th birthday. Things get shifty and weird throughout Season 2, especially after she discovers one of the reasons she keeps reincarnating.
