Good Smile releases lifelike Haruhi Suzumiya figure for the series' 20th anniversary

This week, Good Smile Company revealed a commemorative 1/7 scale figure of Haruhi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya to celebrate the anime series' 20th anniversary. Seen sitting on her school desk, dynamically pointing forward, Haruhi sports her iconic armband and trademark ribbon, with the figure measuring 7.87 inches tall and also comes with a brigade leader badge. Pre-orders are now open, and the figure will set fans back $162.99. Those who pre-order can expect to receive their shipment between April 1 and June 30, 2027.

While its themes and characters are what make it The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya so memorable that its peculiar episode structure also remains a hot topic. Its 14 episodes aired in Japan in a non-linear order, with the prologue and early chapters of the first novel interspersed with chapters from later novels.
