The paramaker i Paralives is much more detailed than you'd normally expect for a game like this, especially when you're in early access. For this reason, players immediately started working with this character creator to recreate their favorite characters from various media and even some celebrities themselves.
The combination of skill shown by players and the capabilities of the Paramaker has resulted in designs that are borderline terrifying. So, here are some of the ones we've come across on social media and in the Steam Workshop that deserve a moment in the spotlight.

Jacksepticeye (Sean McLoughlin)
Celebrity recreation
While he may not have played the game on his channel himself, that doesn't mean you can't have Jacksepticeye shout “top of the morning” to everyone in Melino on your own playthrough. Steam Workshop user CynderFlame has even gone through the trouble of recreating her image for you.

Alex, Sam and Clover
From Totally Spies!
If you watched Cartoon Network back in 2001, or perhaps stumbled upon this trio via the recent reboot of the series, then Alex, Sam and Clover from Totally Spies! probably needs no introduction.
While they're often overlooked along with another iconic Cartoon Network trio of color-coded heroes, it's nice to see one Paralives player, Idividual-Blood7599 on Reddit, taking the time to show these spies the respect they deserve. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the designs have been uploaded to the Steam Workshop yet, but maybe this will inspire you to try them out for yourself.

Maelle, Lune, Sciel and Verso
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Although Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has a beautiful, melancholic story, it might be nice to see this group together in a setting that's a little more joyful. So if you want to give Verso the chance to have a fruitful musical career and the second chance to have a career in painting that doesn't nearly wipe out humanity, why not add them to your city in Paralives?
Steam Workshop user Yoki was kind enough to go ahead and make the whole group, but it uses some mods, so keep that in mind when downloading. Also, this set doesn't include Gustav, so you'll have to make him yourself if you want to rewrite the past for him.
Several of the designs on this list, including this one, use specific mod content to complete these looks, but you can see all used mods listed on the Steam Workshop page of the design.

Miles Morales
From Into The Spider-Verse
If there's one thing that Paralive's almost comic book-like line art is perfect for, it's recreating Spider-Verse characters, and what better character than Spider-Man himself (well, one of them), Miles Morales.
This ZOI Verse design looks like Miles was ripped straight out of Earth-1610B and thrown into Melino. So if you want to add some real heroes to your city, you can download this design directly from the Steam Workshop by searching for “Miles Morales” and looking for the design by user ZOI Verse.

The Goth Household
From The Sims
If you've ever played The Sims, which I have to assume you have if you play Paralives, then you're probably incredibly familiar with the most iconic family in the neighborhood, the Goth family. Mortimer and Bella Goth's family has been around since the inception of The Sims, and has been a consistently playable household ever since.
Somehow a game like this doesn't feel right without Mortimer, Bella, Cassandra and Alexander Goth living in your town, but thankfully you don't have to miss them. Steam Workshop user Cometa Maria was kind enough to create the entire Goth household in Paralives and share it for you to download.

Sabrina Carpenter
Celebrity recreation
If your town has been lacking some musical talent, perhaps this recreation will inspire you to welcome Sabrina Carpenter herself. This design by karoline134 on Reddit has been generously shared for you to download directly from the Steam Workshop, where she goes by the username cats, and the design is listed as “Sabrina Carpenter”.
With the skill you see in this recreation, it should come as no surprise that this Parafolk creator is on this list more than once, with a recreation even more impressive than this one.

Sophie
From Howl's Moving Castle
If you want to add some whimsical NPCs to your town that you can interact with, Sophie, especially older Sophie, is the perfect way to add some adorable charm to your town. Her presence somehow just makes the rest of town feel a little cozier. Plus using older Sophie also helps keep your town from feeling weirdly overrun by young adults.
User Leelamut4ant has already put in the work to create her for you and listed this design in the Steam Workshop under the title 'Sophie – Howl's Moving Castle' where you can download it yourself. With any luck, you might soon be able to find a design for Howl somewhere in the Steam Workshop as well.

Cynthia Erivo

If, like me, you found yourself preoccupied with all things evil over the past few years, then adding Cythia Erivo to your city is easy. Thankfully for all of us, the hard work has been done for us as Tiff37neko on Reddit was kind enough to share his design via the Steam Workshop, where you can download it directly by searching for 'Cynthia Erivo' and selecting the design by user Tiff.
Unfortunately, I have yet to find an Ariana Grande design that matches the flare of this Cynthia design, so if you were hoping to add both Galinda and Elphaba to the city, you may have to try it out in Paramaker yourself.

Jinx
From Arcane
While the character Jinx is obviously tied to League of Legends, this design by SpecOps FR on the Steam Workshop is apparently directly inspired by her appearance on the Arcane TV show.
So if you're mourning the end of the series after its final season, why not ease the pain by downloading SpecOps FR's perfect design to have Jinx hanging around your town in Paralives. They have two other versions of this design if you think you like one of the others better, but the one shown here is marked as their final version.

Taylor Swift
Celebrity recreation
One of the most impressive designs by far has to be this recreation of the one and only Taylor Swift, also by cats on the Steam Workshop (karoline134 on Reddit). This recreation is not only incredible for capturing Taylor's look almost perfectly, but also for showing the seemingly endless potential of Paralive's detailed character creators.
Given that Paralives is still in early access, achieving this level of detail is bordering on insanity. Of course, this is not to discredit the para-artist either. Creating characters in Paralives that are practically a 1:1 reproduction of their reference is a masterful skill, even with amazing tools at your disposal. Cats, I hope you are ready to take requests!
