Summary
-
Each ex -combat deck is built around a central ex pokemon, with support cards that improve its strengths, whether it is by speeding up the energy master, spreading damage or disturbing opponents.
-
Many tires, such as Greninja ex and Meowscarada ex, rely on prevailing opponents to maximize their attacks, making capable injuries such as brilliant Alakazam and Hawlucha incredibly valuable.
-
Some tires include tricky mechanics for challenging opponents, such as Staraptor's attack lock, Medichamb's motion-cut ACU-Pan-Ture, or Quaquaval ex forced Switching, which adds layers of strategy beyond raw power.
Pokemon TCG has lots of theme tires, with new ones that lose each set. If building a tire from scratch sounds like too much work or just learning the game, it's a great way to start! For example, battle tires, as the name implies, always include at least one ex pokemon, and the entire tire is built to support it.

Unlike some theme tires, these usually focus on a single type – although there are some exceptions. But which ex battle deck is best? If you are curious, this list breaks the best ex -combat tires so you can find the ultimate power plant!
This list contains only ex -combat decks. It does not include combat force tires.

Greninja ex battle deck
Greninja is a cool Pokémon, and most would probably agree. Greninja -Ex in this tire is as cool as it is dangerous. Its severe slash attack handles 120 injuries, which may seem modest, but if the opponent already has any injury it doubles to 240! In addition, with the stealthy shuriken, it can target benched pokemon, which makes it easier to find exposed goals.
The tire Quaquaval has the energy carnival capacity, which means that an energy card can be attached to a Pokémon once per turn and speeds up the process. In addition, Lapras's Hail Attack does ten injuries to each of the opponent's benched Pokémon and sets up Greninja Ex's heavy slash for full force.

Amphara's ex battle deck
Ampharos ex is a tough Pokémon with 330 hp and its Thunderstrike Tail Attack Business 140 injuries. If you throw two energies, it adds 100 extra damage and reaches a total of 240! This tire also has Pokémon like Kilowattrel and Miraidon, which can beat directly at the bench.

Rare tires, real taxes!
To balance its combat weakness, the tire includes Staraptor and Flamigo. If your opponent has a basic Pokémon in the active location, perhaps Staraptor's Tailspin Away Attack may not be hit hard, but it prevents the opponent from attacking you next turn – perfect to cause some frustrating moments!
6
Houndoom ex battle deck
The real power plant in this stroke is Houndoom ex. Its evil claw attack ensures that if your opponent's Pokémon is basic, they cannot attack the next turn talk about a good time-out! Then there is Hound's Fang, a powerful 220 injury, but watch out, Houndoom ex deals 30 damage to himself with that hit.
Houndour in the tire acts as a wolf package, with coordinated packaging to pull dark energy from the tire and slamm it on a houndour, and get Houndoom ex quickly driven up. Regular Houndooms (not ex) are also not so furry and hit hard. Oh, and let's not forget Morpeko, who can send dark energy to your benched pokemon, and make sure your heavy finders remain charged and ready!

Zapdos ex Deluxe Battle Deck
Zapdo's ex Deluxe Battle Deck has two Zapdo's ex -cards. While they may not meet like lots of bricks, they have a furry trick: If your opponent's benched Pokemon already has injury, Zapdo's ex strikes additional 90 damage to them while attacking the active pokemon.

Even McDonald's campaign cards rise.
Plus, thanks to its ability, Voltaic Float, Zapdo's ex needs to even worry about retreat costs as long as it is driven up with lightning energy! The rest of the tire is also solid. Hawlucha sneaks in Tendamage to two of your opponent's benched Pokemon and sets them for a Zapdos Zap! And Miraidon ex makes sure you get zapdos in the field faster than you can say “Thunderbolt!”
Melmetal ex is a scary force to count on. Its full metal knuckle attack deals with 90 damage, but for each metal energy that is attached, it adds 30 more – no lid! With at least 210 injuries, it can easily crush most ex pokémon.
Orthworm can be an energy -hanging card, but with three metal energy it gets 100 hp and shoots its maximum HP to 230, almost as high as an ex. Zacian's iron deficiency allows you to attach a metal energy from your casserole to a bench Pokémon, which makes metal and placeworm even more dangerous. With the bronzon and revenge -drawing card, this tire is packed with synergy and a lot of threats!
3
Lucario ex battle deck
Lucario Ex is a powerful card, especially with its signature Aura sphere attack, which handles 160 damage and 50 to a bench Pokemon. This tire also has Annihilape, one of the most dangerous Pokémon here. Its Rage Fist Attack deals 70 damage for each price card that your opponent has taken – which means if they have taken five, you look at a huge 350 injury!
Koraidon is another heavy hitter, but watch out, as discarding three energies requires careful planning. Medichams ACU-Punch-Ture attack is a real pain for Pokémon with just an attack, as it forces your opponent to skip their chosen attack-talk about frustrating!
2
Quaquaval ex Deluxe Battle Deck
One of the best fighting tires out there, this tire has two Quaquaval ex. Its spiral shot attack hits for 230 injuries, but instead of discarding, it returns two energies to your hand – road better than losing them forever! Its second attack changes both Quaquaval Ex and the opponent's active Pokémon with bench, which can really move with strategies.
Baxcalibur super -balled ability allows you to attach water energy at any time under your turn, perfect synchronization with Quaquaval ex. Brilliant branch line helps with short draw, lets you throw a card to draw two. In addition, with the Lake Acuity Stadium card, your water pokemon will take 20 minor damage. Everything in this tire works together as a dream!
1
Meowscarada ex Deluxe Battle Deck
This tire packs two meowscarada ex, and they are completely fatal. Scratching Nails handles 100 injuries, but if the opponent's Pokémon already has injury, it hits another 120! But not a problem – Meowscarada ex's bouquet of magical ability allows you to throw a grass energy to deal with 30 damage to a bench pokemon, which creates perfect synergy.
Brilliant Alazam's ability also helps by moving 20 damage from one of the opponent's Pokémon to another. Eldegoss speeds up things by picking up two grass energy per turn. But the real gaming exchange? Gapejaw Bog Stadium card, which handles 20 damage to all Pokémon placed on the bench – fuel meowscarada ex's maximum power and makes brilliant alakazam even more annoying!
