Calling everyone horror fans: the trailer for American horror stories season 4 is hereand there are several terrifying creatures to look forward to.
After learning that American horror stories Season 4 has five episodes and a release date of October 15, 2024fans of the anthology series, created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, were curious about the new stories. The trailer explains it every episode of season 4 will feature monsterswhich is perfect since the fourth season is premiering as part of the Huluween event on Hulu.
The American horror stories season 4 trailer shares some details about five scary episodes: “Backrooms”, “The Thing Under the Bed”, “Clone”, “Leprechaun” and “X”. Fans can guess what each episode will be about based on these titles, as there is clearly a clone and a troll. However, viewers don't know who any of the new characters are, or what major twists will be revealed at the end of each episode. American horror stories always delivers the unexpected, and fans can likely look forward to it in Season 4. As reported by Bloody Disgusting, Season 4 cast includes June Squibb, Henry Winkler, Victor Garber, Dyllón Burnside, Jessica Barden, Michael Imperioli, Guy Burnet, Angel Bismark Curiel, Jeff Hiller and Debby Ryan.
The trailer for American horror stories Season 4 opens with one character saying “When she dreams, things happen” and another saying “We're coming for you, Dad.” These two lines alone are incredibly creepy and hint that the new episodes will be just as creepy and unnerving as the other three seasons. One episode seems to be about a monster under the bed, which is good because this is a classic horror trope that always works well. In another quick moment in the trailer, a creature runs across the windshield of a car. Even if it is unclear which characters will be featured in the upcoming seasonthey will likely be a mix of likeable and horrible, as has been the case in the past.
Previous seasons of American horror stories has tackled the urban legend of Bloody Mary, a creepy internet friend who is not what they seem, and a crazy version of Christmas, to name a few plot lines. While American horror stories Season 1, Episode 6, “Feral” is about a creature in the woods, it looks like season 4 will focus on monsters more than the previous three seasons. There are many monster horror tropes, from Monster of the Week to Monster Town, Monster Clown and Monster Anonymous. It will be interesting to see if any of these tropes make it American horror stories season 4.
