TBH Hero Tier List

Nugem Studios TBH: Task Bar Hero is a hard-wearing yet super-addictive desktop idle game that keeps most players running it in the background, farming EXP, materials, gear, and coins while living their lives. This pixel style RPG throws you into three acts in Normal, Nightmare and Torment modes with a team of three heroes.

Since it gives you six character choices in total (two of which are available via DLC), choosing the strongest ones to invest in can be difficult. For players who want to know which units work best from early to late game, check this out TBH tier list guide. You can also find details about each character right below the ranking table.

How to sell items in TBH Task Bar Hero

Players can sell unwanted items in TBH: Task Bar Hero by using the Cube's Alchemy option, which turns equipment into gold and helps level up the cube.

If you are in early game Act 1 without very high gear or skill options, we recommend unlocking the Rune of Awakening (costs 50,000 gold coins) and equipping two available skills on your chosen characters (eg Rapid Fire and Scatter Shot for Ranger, and Heal and Blessing of Might for Priest). Then just level your heroes to the recommended region level (which you can check in the portal section) to clear stages.

You also need to switch between devices as needed. For example, we did act stages 1-4 to 1-9 with Sorcerer and Ranger, then swapped Ranger for Priest in the boss sections (Blessing of Might increased the Sorcerer's damage by 90%, giving us the advantage to end the round). We also finished the boss stage Acts 1-10 with only Sorcerer (Lvl.12) and Priest (Lvl.11).

Best TBH Task Bar Hero Characters

  • Ranger can literally solo any tier (normally torturous), but only if you equip top tier and appropriate gear while also investing in movement speed runes (Rune of the Gale) and attack speed abilities. She is a versatile hero who deals with all types of mobs, including ranged enemies that attack with fire, iron and other projectiles. That said, she goes down too quickly early on, so drop her with Priest for healing and Sorcerer, Hunter or Knight for support when facing monsters and bosses.
  • Priest is one of the best TBH sign. She is designed for constant HP recovery of allies and herself, which you need a lot to survive. Unlike most healers, she can surprisingly serve as a solid tank as long as you invest your Skill Points in the right skills and abilities. Players can clear all of Act 1 with her Blessing of Power and Healing skills, then trade the latter for Wrath of Heaven to complete Act 2 and Act 3. Pair her with DPS abilities like Physical Damage Enhancement, though you'll still need a dedicated DPS unit to play alongside her.

A-tier characters (powerful)

  • Sorcerers are good for AOE damage i Task Bar Hero. He stays in the back lane and channels mana from his staff to hit incoming mobs. Being a damage dealer, he can take care of groups of enemies, so when building him, focus on Lightning and Meteor Strike skills, along with fire and lightning damage. You also want to target chalk damage. Just use him in normal mode alongside Priest and/or Ranger and you'll be fine.
  • Hunter is a premium substitute for Sorcerer with higher DPS and does well in all acts, especially in Nightmare and Torment modes. She has quite a few damage-related specials; you might want to build her on crit chance, crit damage, dodge chance, attack and ultimates like Explosive Bolt and Frost Bolt.

B team character (situational)

  • Although he is a guardian, Knight is mostly a support hero in our experience. He is almost the weakest in the early game due to his melee focused nature, fighting enemies with projectiles. That said, at higher levels skills like Aegis Field can protect the team against swarms of tougher mobs and bosses, making him a situational unit. We recommend building him for endgame, ideal for Act 3 stages in Nightmare and Torment modes. You generally want to avoid using him for solo runs.
  • Slayer looks strong on paper with ultimates like Crushing Bow (620% physical damage and 350% to nearby enemies), Ground Slam and Bloodlust, but in practice he's just average. He works as an AOE damage character, but the downside is that he takes more damage than he does, even at higher levels. His equipment and gear also have low DPS compared to most other units, which holds him back. Hopefully he gets buffed in the future.
