State of Decay 3 has a low ceiling to split with enclaves

Enclave is likely to make a comeback State of decay 3and if they do, there is a list of new features that can be applied to them. Just like in previous games, enclaves in State of decay 3 will play the important role of reminding players that they are not alone in a world of zombies. But they do more than just add set dressing. Enclaves have a variety of in-game uses that make them a valuable part of a player's strategy. Come State of decay 3they could have even more to offer in a more advanced world.

Part of surviving State of decay 2 has to do with the many enclaves that will appear on the map during the player's playthrough. Enclaves are groups of NPC survivors that the player can interact with in various ways. They can trade with them for supplies and influence, and some enclaves come with special quests that offer even more rewards. Allying with an enclave offers unique bonuses, while players can also recruit survivors from friendly enclaves at the cost of disbanding them. Not all enclaves are friendly, however, with hostile survivors adding another layer of danger to a map already teeming with hordes of undead threats.

No More Room in Hell 2 and State of Decay 3 are two sides of the same coin

Two of the most anticipated zombie games right now, No More Room in Hell 2 and State of Decay 3 are two sides of a very similar coin.

The mechanics surrounding the enclaves are prime for expansion in State of Decay 3

State of Decay 3 may introduce more enclave types

Enclave is a feature that State of decay 3 can't forget when it comes to new features. There was already a good range of special enclaves in the State of decay 2and the sequel may add even more. Existing enclaves include groups of medics, mechanics, and soldiers. Maybe a group of scientists or weapon designers would be another cool addition. Likewise, there are more opportunities for hostile or rogue enclaves as well. A group of con artists who clearly charge too much for supplies, for example, could be a new kind of enemy. More variety in enclaves would add more replay value State of decay 3.

Friendships and tensions between enclaves can contribute to the game's world building

Kind of like how the trailer showed a development of State of decays plague, the inner workings of the third game's enclaves could become more dynamic. IN State of decay 2there were occasional missions where two enclaves would have a dispute. State of decay 3 can extend it to long-term alliances and enmities between enclaves. This can even affect the user's status, as helping an enclave can earn praise from their friends, but scorn from their enemies. In the last game, the player's community felt like the only active one, so more dynamics between enclaves would make the world feel more alive.

More variety in enclaves would add more replay value State of decay 3.

State of Decay 3 could make enemy enclaves more interesting

Enemy enclaves are another area that could see improvements. Appears in unused outposts i State of decay 2enemy enclaves would try to kill the player on sight and could not be interacted with in any other way. Missions that might involve recruiting a survivor away from an enemy enclave, or turning an enemy enclave entirely, would be a welcome change. It would turn the hostile enclaves from a characterless threat into something more interesting. Not to mention, it would also avoid the problem of having an annoying near-permanent threat blocking an area, especially on higher difficulty levels.

Enclaves were useful in State of decay 2and the next game can do even more with them. As State of decay 2s service ends, there is still a lot of untapped potential when it comes to enclaves. With State of decay 3 already sounds ambitious, there is reason to hope for improvements in all aspects of the game. Enclave is a solid game mechanic with a lot of room to grow. When State of decay 3 revisiting them, enclaves can have lots of new features for players to interact with.
