Final Fantasy 7 players want more issues fixed
The news that an update had rolled out was met with mixed reactions at best. One player lamented that such a small patch had caused their game to restart when paused during an overnight battle, restoring their progress. However, several players on social media addressed the issues, which are still being reported Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PS5. The main complaint was that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth still looks blurry on original PS5 when using Performance Mode. Although the graphics received a patch earlier, some players still want to see further improvements, although the development team's focus is likely on the upcoming PC port.
While this new patch fixes a minor issue with both games, it's nice to see that Square Enix fixed it quickly. With any luck, the company can sort out any remaining issues before then Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth starts on PC. Gamers have high expectations for the game after waiting for the PS5 exclusivity to end. While the reported blurry graphics issues aren't likely to be a problem for those with high-end PCs, some gamers are still annoyed by how the port of FF7 Remake was handled. Players at launch noted that there were fewer graphical options than with other games, making it more difficult to fine-tune the experience. Unlike games that are already optimized for a console's capabilities, PC gamers use more in-depth controls to balance performance and visuals to their system's exact specifications. With any luck, these complaints will have been addressed FF7 Rebirth.
