Solo -leveling is a huge success globally, but it's another story in Japan

Solo -leveling is very popular internationally, but this may not be the case in Japan.

Solo Living did well at the Crunchyroll Awards

The series won the most awards by any other anime

Solo department is definitely the biggest anime in the last two years, and its popularity will only grow with subsequent seasons. The Solo department Anime was broadcast her first season just last year, 2024. Since then everyone in the anime community has talked about it. Its popularity only continued to skyrocketing with Solo department Season 2, especially with Jeju Island Arc, which was a huge hit.

Solo Living's Popularity globally cannot be underestimated. After all, Anime did incredibly well during the Crunchyroll Awards this year, much better than any other anime in that regard.

This year, Solo department Won the best new series, best action, best protagonist, best points, best final sequence, best voice artist performance (Brazilian Portuguese), best voice artist performance (Castilian Spanish) and best voice artist's performance (English). Even more impressively, Solo Living also won the most prestigious award, which was this year's Anime. Everything is incredible, because it was up against huge HitaNime like the frieren and Dandadan.

Despite all this, however, the series has a major shortcoming, and that is its protagonist, Sung Jinwoo.

Solo -leveling has a major deficiency and it will not change anytime soon

Sung Jinwoo is not the most interesting character

Sung Jinwoo is the main character in solo niveness, and he is definitely an extremely popular character. Sung Jinwoo even won the award for best protagonist this year, but this does not change the fact that he is so powerful that he is almost uninteresting to look at sometimes.

Solo Living: Season 2 was amazing, but season 3 will be on a completely different level

Season 3 will showcase the real potential of the Solo Leveling series.

Sung Jinwoo started as an interesting character. He was an e -ranker who struggled to end the meeting, with a sick mother and a younger sister to take care of. For starters, when he got his new forces, he was still something interesting and fought on many points in the story.

But as the story progresses, Jinwoo becomes far too overwhelmed for everything he faces. His character development does not compensate for any of this. IN Solo department Season 2 he is hardly opposed to anyone.

This can be seen in particular when he faces Thomas Andre in Manhwa and strikes him easily and destroys the entire concept of national level hunters.
