Rockstar just made their first public GTA 6 move in a long time

Rockstar Games has made a change to their official Discord and how it goes Grand Theft Auto 6 is represented. Although it's a small development, it's likely another sign that the developer is locked in on the release and ready for Grand Theft Auto 6s arrival.

Fans of the series are more than hungry for Grand Theft Auto 6 to finally arrive. The game has such incredible hype behind it GTA 6 won the Golden Joystick and The Game Awards' Most Anticipated Game award two years in a row, indicating that even though fans have been kept waiting by delays, they are still eager to get their hands on the title. As a result, even small movements on Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive's parts tend to draw attention.

It didn't take long for fans to notice that a change had been made in the official Rockstar Games Discord. While there has been a channel for Grand Theft Auto 6 for a while now, Discord recently moved it to its own category with the same name as the game. So far, no other significant changes have been noticed, although fans were initially worried that the channel had disappeared entirely. Without checking the button “Show all channels” can GTA 6 the channel and its new category were initially not visible. Given that the players have been particularly keen on GTA 6 to be delayed again, it is not surprising that many were nervous to see the channel “disappear”.

Unfortunately, there is no further evidence of anything substantial happening with the game on the Rockstar Games Discord. Given that the channel is likely to be crawling with comments when GTA 6s third trailer release and/or pre-orders officially open for the game, this change may have been made to better handle the channel when that happens. Although there have been a few leaks about the next trailer, none of them have been successful. Some fans noticed GTA 6 marketing in May, but it may have been unauthorized or unintentional, with the ad being released in a mall in Bangladesh.

With summer being prime time for game trailers and new game reveals, there's a good chance that Rockstar Games will finally roll out something new for GTA 6 soon. But there's so much build-up around the game that Rockstar doesn't really need to stick to the traditional reveal cycle to release the third trailer or open pre-orders. Fans have been so desperate for news and looked for it in so many places GTA 6 could make its next big reveal anytime, anywhere, and it would still likely light the internet on fire.
