Sony has officially revealed the new games that come to extra and premium levels of Playstation Plus September 16th. Playstation Plus subscribers are treated on new games on a monthly basis, with a lot of free games given to important level subscribers at the beginning of the month and the extra and premium levels updated in the middle of the month.
The free PS Plus games for September 2025 have some pretty heavy hitters. Meanwhile, those who signed up for the extra and premium levels have some new games to look forward to next week.

The Inheritance from Cain Games have been slowly added to PS Plus since last year, and now Legacy of Kain: Defiance Has debuted, the entire series is playable on PS4 and PS5. Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain and Blood Omen 2 is already part of PS plus, while Soul reaver and its sequels are available as part of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered collection.
