Anno 117: PAX Romana arrives at a haissert time for strategy games

Anno 117: Pax Romana has just been announced on Ubisoft forward, and there is further evidence that the strategy is experiencing a golden age right now.

Ancient Rome is perfect for anno

Recently, Ubisoft has been anxious to listen to its fanbase and, more importantly, act on the feedback. The enormous changes made to Star Wars Outlaws After launch, proof of that is, as is this attitude. For several years, votes implemented by Anno Fans have regularly quoted ancient Rome as the most desired attitude, so it was an easy decision to determine the next match during this period. As Dunlel explained,

'' 'Anno is a very successful brand. It has been around for 27 years. There was a high probability that we would make a game in Rome at any stage. The only question was when. We are always researching what our fans want, and we know that it is one of the most desired settings for our fan base. ''

Struggle will be optional in Pax Romana

The Romans are perhaps best known for their skilled attitude to military warfare despite being a rather complicated civilization. With this in mind, Ubisoft Mainz has ensured Paxromana Has both ground and navy. However, the game is first and foremost a city builder, and Dungel confirmed that the battle would be completely optional. Some choices will lead players to more battle, others to less, with Durel explaining,

'' There is a way not to participate in any battle. It was important that the game was still first and foremost a premium city builder. We wanted to remain truthful to it. We know that there are many people who are happy with land battles, but there are also people who do not want to participate in it at all. We will have many accessibility settings you can customize. For example, you can disable AI. But even if you do not actually change any attitude, we will have more peaceful characters in the game, so not everything will result in violence. ''

The freedom to get involved in battle or avoiding it is quite a smart way to calm both fan sets. Dunlel also explained that Anno 117: Pax Romana is in the unique position of trying to get brand new fans by making the game as accessible as possible and include things like battle while turning Anno Franchise's loyal and long -lasting fanbas. It's a tricky balance, but Paxromana pulls out all the stops to make it happen.
