The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered succeeded for some reasons. First, it gave fans of the series something to enjoy during the long wait for The Elder Scrolls 6. It also gave fans of the original a new and improved way to experience the original. Finally, since so many of its mechanics are deeper than Skyrim, it also brought in a number of new fans.

Oblivion Remastered's success is a sad sign of where video games are right now
As the best -selling game last month, Oblivion Remastered proves that we are still obsessed with nostalgia.
Comparison of the improved images from Remaster with iconic sites and characters from the original have given a lot of joy to Elder Scroll's fans. While society is quite satisfied with the passion that clearly shines through remaster, it seems that there is an example where fans prefer the original Oblivion version.
Trollboard
Troll is found all over the continent in the Elder Scrolls series. Who remembers having to defeat a pretty tough on your way up to the world's neck in Skyrim? These creatures have a unique design in the series, with three eyes and a particularly threatening face. However, Remaster's Devs decided to change it dramatically and even hide the iconic third eye.
During the assignment where you enter the painted world in Oblivion Remastered, you will actually find the original design for the troll, albeit in painted form. Veteran fans were happy to see this version of the creature in remaster, but wondered why the design changed so much.
“First courage that I want for the remake: HD Original Trolls,” said one of the comments, and clearly longed for original design. “I don't understand why they made them gorillas and hide their third eye. Entering choice,” wondered another. Someone even joked about it and said “Bethesda trolled us.”
It is unclear why Bethesda saw that it was appropriate to fully invent how Troll is looking for remaster. They now look more like monkeys and the third eye is also not visible. “It's a nice model, but it looks nothing like an older scrolling troll,” said another comment. “They look like hairy Warhammer orcs. The original design is much more unique.”
