How to play Connections
To play Connectionsyou have to look at the sixteen words on the board and try to find groups of four connected words. After choosing four words, you can submit your guess. If the words belong together, they will be removed from the board and the category will be revealed. If they don't, you will lose a life.
Each Connections The puzzle has four groups, which are usually color-coded by difficulty. Yellow is usually the easiest, followed by green and blue. Purple is often the trickiest and usually involves some kind of pun. You only get four mistakes, so it's worth taking a moment to look for possible traps before locking in an answer.
