This article contains spoilers from One Piece's Elbaf Arc.
Important takeaways
- Not all powerful Haki users in One Piece have captain titles, such as Katakuri, Ben Beckman, and Rayleigh.
- Strong Haki users like Kuzan, Sanji and Zoro have honed their Armament and Observation Haki to elite levels.
- Kozuki Oden stands out as a masterful Haki user, capable of inflicting great trauma on even powerful foes like Kaido.
The world of One Piece is filled with many powerful Haki users. Specifically, the likes of Yonko are among the strongest Haki users in the series, and at the same time, all pirate captains who aren't part of Yonko crews tend to be among the most powerful as well.
Family
One Piece: 10 Strongest Female Haki Users
Haki is an important power system in One Piece. Here are the best haki users among female characters.
Often this overshadows the powerful Haki users who do not hold the title of captain but are also incredibly impressive. It is safe to say that Oda has introduced quite a few such characters in his story, and the strength that they possess must not be underestimated at all costs.
8 Katakari
The strongest cute commander of Big Mom
- Haki Types: Armament, Observation, Supreme King
Katakuri is certainly a decent user of Haki, at least. Fans know that he is a user of all three types of Haki, and his Observation Haki has been advanced to the next level. Katakuri can see the future with his Observation Haki, but that's not all. He is also a user of Advanced Class Armament Haki.
Of course, there are different degrees of advancement to Armament Haki. Katakuri can't use Internal Destruction, but at least fans know he can harness the power of an incredibly hard version of Armament Haki that can even damage Gear 4, which is really hard to pull off. In addition to that, Katakuri is also a user of Conqueror's Haki, at least at the basic level.
7 Cousin
The 10th ship captain of Blackbeard
- Haki Types: Arming, Observation
Kuzan is truly a monstrously powerful fighter who primarily relies on his Devil Fruit in battle. But, that's not to say that Kuzan has weak Haki. Garp trained his Haki every day and got it to a level where it was incredibly overpowered. Training with Garp using Battleship Bags, Kuzan strengthened himself to the point where he could damage actual ships without even using Haki.
This gave him immense strength and at the same time strengthened his Haki. Kuzan's Haki is strong enough to see him compete with the likes of Garp and send him flying with his Haki-clad punches. He has above average control of Observation Haki and can potentially be a user of Future Sight.
6 Sanji
Pirate King's Wings
- Haki Types: Arming, Observation
Sanji is a pretty powerful pirate and definitely one of the strongest Strawhats. Fans know that Sanji has incredibly good Observation Haki, arguably better than even Luffy in some aspects, even though he can't see the future. At the same time, Sanji also possesses incredibly good Armament Haki. He has honed his Armament Haki over the years, developing it to the point where he can sustain the hot flames of the Ifrit Jambe on his legs without actually burning himself and sustaining the damage.
This is absolutely huge, considering the power of Ifrit Jambe is so great that it can take down a commander in just a few hits. Sanji having Haki strong enough to sustain this proves that he is one of the strongest Armament Haki users in One Piece.
5 Ben Beckman
The redheaded pirates' first mate
- Haki Types: Arming, Observation
Ben Beckman is truly a monstrously powerful individual, the true strength that fans have yet to see. But at least fans know he's a very skilled user of Haki, especially since he doesn't even have a Devil Fruit.
Beckman probably has all three types of Haki, but for now fans know he has Armament and Observation Haki. His Armament Haki is specifically compared to the Admirals, indicating that he is very powerful.
4 Zoro
The Straw Hats' Combatant
- Haki Types: Armament, Observation, Supreme King
Zoro is the Swordsman of the Strawhat Pirates and certainly an elite user of Haki. Fans know that he is a user of all three types of Haki, and at the same time he is also a user of advanced Conqueror's Haki, thanks to Enma.
This blade brought out Zoro's latent Haki and allowed him to channel it through the King of Hell style at full power. Still, Zoro can't maintain his full Haki output for long, and at the same time, his control over this Haki type isn't that great either.
3 Mihawk
The world's best swordsman
- Haki Types: Arming, Observation
Mihawk is Buggy's minion and the world's greatest swordsman One Piece. He is truly one of the most powerful individuals. Mihawk is confirmed to only be a user of two types of Haki, they are Observation and Armament. Both of his Haki types are likely trained to the highest level.
Whether or not Mihawk has Supreme King Haki is unknown, but a betting man would say that he truly has this power and has advanced it to the next level. Although Mihawk hasn't really shown any majestic Haki feats, fans know that his Haki must be absolutely massive.
2 Rayleigh
The Dark King
- Haki Types: Armament, Observation, Supreme King
Rayleigh, also known as the Dark King, is a phenomenal pirate and an individual compared by Garp to the Yonko themselves. Rayleigh is a non-devil fruit user, but he is a user of all three types of Haki. He possesses advanced control over Armament and Conqueror's Haki, at least.
Rayleigh can use Internal Destruction Haki, but can also infuse Supreme King Haki at the same time. He forced Blackbeard to retreat from the Amazon Lily, which is indeed a good display of his Haki Mastery.
1 Kozuki Oden
Wano's lost son
- Haki Types: Armament, Observation, Supreme King
Kuzuki Oden is quite easily one of the strongest Haki masters in the One Pieceif not the biggest. Fans know that he is a master user of Ryuo, and at the same time a great user of Conqueror's Haki as well. Oden's Haki was such that it caused great trauma to Kaido. He scarred him across the chest and caused him immense pain.
Had it not been for the distraction, Odin would have killed Kaido in battle, which is incredibly difficult to do. His level of Conqueror's Haki allowed him to perform such masterful feats. To date, he remains the greatest non-captain Haki user in One Piece.
