No one experiences these moments in the same way in nature

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of them once in a lifetime. If it clicks with you, you will end what feels like you have just had an experience that you will never forget or be able to replicate. I know it was so for me.

Part of the reason why it hits so hard is because of the many moments you have throughout the game that is completely unique to you, even if everyone else plays the same technically experienced them as well. These moments stay with you and leave a lasting impression.

Decision where to go after leaving the large plateau

Link that stares out at Hyrule from the edge of the large plateau in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Once you have completed all the shrines on the large plateau and finally deserved yourself the coveted paraglide, you are free to go somewhere in Hyrule. If you can see it, you can go there. Therefore, there are so many different alternatives open to you, and everyone decides to go somewhere differently at this time.

Personally I ran down the road in front of me, almost immediately face to face with a stone talus as I was not expects to come to life. Yes, Link went flat on the face pretty much directly. Not the most heroic beginning to explore rent …

Explore Hyrule Castle for the first time

A wide -angle shot of Hyrule Castle from Breath of the Wild surrounded by giant pillars with a brilliant light coming from its center

In the Breath of the Wild, Hyrule Castle is a constant, developing presence, shrouded in the Dissole Ganon's fog. I stayed away from it for as long as possible for that very reason – I was certainly not ready to meet monsters there yet!

Finally, taking the step and going into Hyrule Castle for the first time is a unique experience for everyone. Maybe you were well equipped, skilled at fighting and ready to put on everything Calamity Canon could throw on you. Or you were sneaking around trying not to pay attention to any attention from evil guardians. One thing, however, is the same for everyone: to be enchanted by the ominous soundtrack that plays in every inch of the castle.

The music in the castle actually contains part of Zelda's cradle, but in the reverse direction.

Meets your first Lynel

Lynel in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Lynels is easily the hardest, toughest enemy you will face in the spirit of nature. Yes, move over Calamity Ganon – you have nothing on a centaur. The first time you get face to face with one of these things is definitely a moment you remember. Before you can even get close enough to them see Their face, they will pillar you with arrows, fire balls and the like.

I actively avoided these guys until I have To see one when I collected electric arrows for Sidon (yes, I didn't realize that I could literally get them anywhere else at that time). Although I imagine that this is not the same for everyone. You may have gone straight up to one after leaving the large plateau and quickly got your butt. You may have extreme parrying skills, which means you managed to hit one directly outside the bat. If that was how it went for you, I'm seriously impressed.

When your horse dies

Link and a horse's breath.

For some reason, I was very attached to my horse in nature. I preferred riding over the plains to travel quickly, and would even go back into the game long after finishing it just to ride my horse, see the sights and listen to the wonderful music.

What wasn't so quiet though? The first time I tried to climb on a cliff with my horse, which quickly slid, threw on the ground and flopped around like a ragdoll. Talk about traumatization. Everyone has a story about how their horse first died in this game, and everyone is as tragic as the last.

Thank goodness that the horse God exists, right?

Your first directed by a custodian

Guardian aims to link Zelda Breath of the Wild.

There is this custodian on the large plateau, and although it is a script event, I bet we all contacted it differently, and that none of you were as stupid as I did about it. I came out of the sanctuary and was immediately directed by it and continued to fight and die … I don't know, about 50 times?

Then I remembered, oh yes, this is a game with an open world. I don't have to fight this thing! I can only escape. So I did it. Most other players were probably much smarter than me, and either paired or ignored it. Or maybe you threw everything you could at it – bombs, weapons, whatever. Better than I just hit it with a stick, at least.

Building Tarrey Town

Tarrey Town with link from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Building Tarrey Town is similar to a spiritual experience. It starts as an empty plain in the middle of the Akkala region, and you help build it into a thriving society completely from the ground up. There are a few ways you can approach it: Relaxed build and provide material throughout the game, or do everything at once, as a side project.

I chose it later and stopped getting super tied to Tarrey Town and its new cities. It felt like a second home, and I always ended up there, just to hang around the NPCs. Tarrey Town is a personal experience, and although most of us all became emotionally linked to it, how we got there is different.

Seeing a dragon for the first time

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Naydra cleared from evil.

Breath of the Wild has three breathtaking (word games intended) dragons, Naydra, Farosh and Dinraal, who fly over their respective regions. To see one of them for the first time, especially if you don't even Know It would be dragons, is a surreal experience.

If you are up next to one, it feels impassable to see this creature so close, and you may even have tried (and failed) to ride it. Seeing it at a distance is just as magical as you try to get closer to find out if what you see really is a dragon.

Discover Satori Mountain

Satori Mountain is easily one of the most beautiful places in the entire breath. But if you explored it in one night when the glowing light was not there, maybe you have gone all the way up to the mountain peak and thought, what is it about?

However, if you followed the glowing light, you have had an unforgettable experience. Mysterious Blupees surrounding the mountain lake and a forest god -like deer creature among them all. I do not doubt that we all tried to mount it and ride around it, but we have all appreciated and remember the view and the first time we saw it, differently.
