October 8, Nintendo Switch Online shadow -dropped three SNES games, highlighted by the official publication of Mario and Wario For the first time outside of Japan. Together with Mario and WarioNintendo Switch Online subscribers can now enjoy Fatal Fury Special and Bubsy in: Claw's meetings of the furry typethe first post in Bubbles series.
Every few weeks, Nintendo releases new titles on apps that are dedicated to consoles such as NES, SNES and Game Boy as a benefit for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers to enjoy. From this writing, SNES: Nintendo Classics app has 77 games for players to choose from, which is two shy for the NES app's current total 79. The previous SNES app update was in July 2025, when the Fan Favorite title Mario color was released on the service. Mario color was also the first Switch online game that required players to use muscular controls, which is possible by using Switch 2 Joy-Con control units in mouse mode or by connecting a USB mouse.

After downloading a short update for SNES: Nintendo Classics app, Switch Online members will have three more games to play. October 8 -update is marked by the release of Mario and Warioa 2D puzzle game originally released in Japan in 1993. In Mario and WarioMario is antagonized by Wario, who places a cracked Yoshi egg shell on Mario's head, making him unable to see. Players control an elk that can add or remove different objects and obstacles, which in turn allows Mario to get to Luigi. Similar Mario colorThe Mario and Wario Requires that muscular controls play. Before the release of Mario and WarioSNES: The Nintendo Classics app was updated to include musk control support for more games, including Nobunaga's ambition and Mario's Super Picross.
Two third-party titles are also included in October 8 Switch Online update. The first game in Bubbles series, title Bubsy in: Claw's meetings of the furry typeis now available for players to try. The release of Bubbles On the SNES app comes almost a month after Atari launched BUBSY IN: The Purrfect Collection. The compilation includes the Snes- and Genesis versions of Chlorine meets of the furry kindtogether with others Bubbles game. The last title included in the game on October 8 is Fatal Fury SpecialA 1993 fighting game by SNK.
Fatal Fury Special is an updated version of Deadly rage 2which was released on SNES: Nintendo Classics app in January 2025. As Nintendo adds more games for Switch Online members to enjoy, time will tell you what the company's ongoing plans are for the service.
