“Heroes” (season 1)

Iconic and nostalgic

The very first end of the series has a strong air of nostalgia for the prolonged fans. The visual is not overall so interesting, and all viewers are watching is that Deku goes when the night sky gradually turns to the morning. This reflects the ten -month intensive training that he underwent, with early mornings and late nights, to get his body strong enough to inherit one for all. The last shot is of the beach that he so carefully cleared by debris during this period. As such, the entire opening revolves around this important moment in Deku's life, which ultimately put him on the way to become a hero.

There are a few short scenes by Deku as a child who shows his admiration for all power, which motivates him to continue working hard so that one day he can become like him and fulfill his dream. The song 'Heroes' is light and optimistic and immediately memorable. There is not much happening here, but it belongs to Dekus's roots and the journey he has just begun to go into after being selected by all the power as inheritance from one for all.

“Tsubomi” (Season 7, End 1)

Dark yet dramatic

  • Artist: Omoinotake

  • “Tsubomy” means “flower bud”

This end is emotional, gloomy and much darker, shows shots of the tragic pasts of the villains but also important defining moments from the life of the four main heroes in Class 1-A, and how this has affected them to this day. The visuals may not show a lot of measures, but it serves to hit hard and shows how each of these key members on both sides of the war fights for what they consider to be right and their own personal journeys.

As suitable with the song's title, the visual focuses on flowing buds, reflects a sense of hope and new life. The fact, the fact that it begins Greyscale and is being rejected, with color that gradually comes in, the subtle light shows at the end of the tunnel during this severe war.

13

“Sketch” (season 6, end 1)

More dramatic and detailed pictures

At this point in the story, the paranormal liberation war has begun and as such, this end paints another type of image by primarily presenting both heroes and villains and showing their two different perspectives on what it means to fight this war. This marks the beginning of the visual style that changes to be a little darker in line with the series tone, with a more dramatic and realistic color palette.

There are a few different versions with subtle minor differences, which reflects major events in the series. After Dabi reveals himself as Toya Todoroki, the visual changes to show him as a young boy and then when he is older. The same goes for the section Katsuki Bakugo: Rising which reflects his character change when he accepts his own weaknesses and even One's justice Shows Toga and twice, which shared a close band. The previous two are also based on mangavo volumes 29 and 30, which is a nice touch.

12

“Long Hope Philia” (Season 3, End 2)

Calm, reflective and calm

This end, after the huge events in Season 3's first half and marks the end of ERA for all power, after giving up his power in the fight against everyone for one. Thus, this end is calm and reflective with a mild slower song and thus animation to follow it.

The visuals do not show much action at all, but it fits with all the pension of power and the burden Deku now has on their shoulders, but it is overall optimistic because Deku realizes that he has friends waiting for him. It also shows a shot of the beach cleaning again, which first put Deku on his way to inherit one for all, which is a nice throw to the binding that is shared between mentor and student.

11

“Dakara, Hitori Yes Nai” (Season 2, End 1)

Celebrates the girls in class 1-a

  • Artist: Little Glee Monster

  • “Dakara, Hitori Yes Nai” means “that's why I'm not alone”

This concluding animation focuses entirely on the six girls in Class 1-A, Uraka, Asui, Yaoyorozu, Jiro, Ashido and Hagakure. This unique angle shows the deep friendship that these girls have all been formed with each other when they each train to become heroes. It shows their education and even some of the personal struggles they try to overcome in their respective assignments to each become big heroes. A short scene of Uraka Crying reminds the viewers of the family's financial issues and how she wants to help her parents by becoming a hero and making lots of money so they can live simpler lives.

This final segment is heartwarming and the uplifting song by Little Glee Monster will surely stay with the viewers. Although MHA is a Shōnen-anime, it does not mean that Class 1-A girls should be overlooked, and this end shows how they can be heroes as well.

10

“Faith” (season 5, end 2)

Showing up the calm before the storm

This is the final sequence for the pursuit of work study, and as such is UA's next 'Big Three', Deku, Katsuki and Shoto, the main focus together with the pursuit and hawks. The song is reflective and solemn, possibly mimicking the pursuit slowly changing opinions and attitude to its family and being the new Hero hero.

Since the stimulation is slower in season 5 when the villains begin to build up to the first war, the reflective and solemn atmosphere is appropriate, especially when number one and two heroes handle the mystery of the Meta Liberation Front and try to discern what the villains make up for.

9

“Rokutosei” (Season 7, End 2)

Great pictures and music

  • Artist: Zaream

  • “Rokutosei” means “sixth size star”

This second ending has some beautiful and multicolored images and shows a large number of characters, showing how the war that pulls on affects so many, and that each member has a role to play. Like “sketch”, the end has several versions that show different characters' relationships with each other, being Shoto and Toya and and Aaco and Himiko, which reflects how the heroes try to solve the villains.

The Bubble visuals can even refer to the first opening of Season 7, “Tagatame” which has texts about how the light of the rainbow is reflected in bubbles as a metaphor for hope, something that this end also shows. This is a beautiful song and a visually appealing sequence to look at that gives many characters the limelight.

8

“KOKAI NO UTA” (Season 4, End 1)

Shows Eri's childhood and tragic event

  • Artist: Sayuri

  • “KOKAI NO UTA” means “about a trip”

This end is much more aggressive than its others and is quite dark and focuses entirely on Eri. It shows scenes from her childhood in a vignette style and trauma that she eventually met when she fell into the review of her hands. This end hits hard because of how tragic Eri's character is.

This end has a much more aggressive song that matches the visual and history at this time, but it shows the hope that this girl has when she meets Lemillion and Deku and thus foreshadows how they will save her. This different ending really binds to the events in the series at this time and is memorable for their much darker angle.

7

Light -hearted and extremely optimistic

Season 5 opens with fairly low efforts and this is reflected in this lighter final sequence that shows a dormitory at UA, it shows every member of Class 1-A who goes on their social lives, including going to the supermarket.

This end is doing a fun and good job of highlighting subtle features that define each character, from Iida's sensitivity to Bakugo's rebellious nature and even Tokoyami's favorite food: apples. The fact that Deku buys a hero trading card reflects an important and happy childhood memory when he and Katsuki each got one at the same time. This end is a fun, optimistic way to end a lighter bow and is a pleasant sequence to watch, which shows how close the members of Class 1-A is.
