Unfortunately, as expected, Mindseye is running a pretty rough start. The lack of reviews before launch, in combination with higher-ups that left the studio with days to go until release, people had worried that Mindseye might have problems. Now it is finally here, and it has taken a single day for some of its players to start asking for a refund.
Although most players have issued refunds have not shared the platform on which they have played Mindseye, it is those who claim that they get their money back on Playstation and share the evidence to prove it, it will be the most about the game devices. Playstation has a very strict repayment policy that is usually quite difficult to take advantage of.

The only big game in the latest memory that has had Playstation that offers a refund to anyone who requests them is Cyberpunk 2077. Although Playstations Support page makes it clear that you are not eligible for a refund if you have downloaded and played a game, all who requested a refund for Cyberpunk during its rocky launch period was issued.
Mindseye is up and running
Think cyberpunk around 2020
What is worrying about Mindseye is that shortly after Playstation issued Cyberpunk refunds, it removed the CDPR game from its store for six months. An outstanding feature that, against all odds, cyberpunk has managed to bounce back from. Mindseye has not been delisted yet, but evidence that repayments is issued begins to emerge.
Masterofmoogles1995 shared evidence of their refund on mindseye subreddit. The player highlights the promises that 60fps and Mindseye are pro-enhanced that are not met. Playstation writes back that “the situation is under investigation”, but rather than leaving it there, the representative continues with the repayment and confirms that it is Mindseye that the player wants to return.
Unfortunately for Mindseye, this is not an isolated incident. A second player, who goes by Wolfganishima, has shared evidence for a Playstation repayment for the game. In their example, the Playstation employment states that it does not usually issue repayments for a game when it has been downloaded, but in this case, due to the troubleshooting proposals that fall flat, the repayment will be granted.
There are more examples of players who request and be granted, repayments for Mindseye start to gather on social media, most without the platform attached. They probably play on Steam, where it is easier to get a refund on a game, even if you have played it. That said, there have been accusations that Devs uploaded the beginning of Mindseye with cutcenes so players do not experience much play until they are past the two -hour repayment point.
