LILLE: A migrant died trying to cross the Channel from northern France to Britain, the seventh death since mid-July, French shipping agency Premar said on Sunday. The dead person was found aboard an overcrowded boat after its passengers had called for help, Premar said, pointing to a “new phenomenon of people dying at sea not by drowning (but) by disease or in a shipwreck.”
