NetEase Games has surprised Marvel Rivals fans by including free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins in the Battle Pass for Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. After ensnaring Doctor Strange, Dracula launches an attack on New York City, forcing The Fantastic Four to lead the fight against the iconic vampire. Players looking to jump into Season 1 of Marvel Rivals can do so between January 10 and April 11, 2025.

The latest season will see all four members of Marvel's First Family join the game's ever-growing roster of characters. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman have joined Marvel Rivals with the launch of Season 1, but fans will have to wait for the game's mid-season update to play the Human Torch and The Thing. Although unconfirmed, leaks have claimed that the Human Torch will be a Duelist while The Thing will add another Vanguard to Marvel Rivals.

NetEase Games is showing off the hero shooter's Darkhold battle pass leading up to the release of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.

Players looking for free cosmetics in Marvel Rivals will be able to earn skins for Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch without purchasing the deluxe version of the Battle Pass for Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. While players can unlock the full Battle Pass for 990 Lattice, which roughly translates to $10, there are tons of cosmetics that players can claim for free by completing missions and earning Chrono Tokens. Peni Parker's blue tarantula skin is featured on page three of the battle pass with a sky blue and stark white color scheme on both her costume and her mech. The hero does not have an associated emote or MVP animation in the pass.

The Scarlet Witch's Emporium Matron skin can be found on page nine of the battle pass. The hero wears a crimson dress with purple accents and a somewhat cosmic animation on the front. While players can also claim an emote for Scarlet Witch for free, they'll need to purchase the deluxe version of the pass if they want to claim the included MVP animation. Season 1 also features a Midnight Features event where players can earn a free skin for Thor i Marvel Rivals by completing missions.

In addition to free cosmetics, Marvel Rivals has released new skins for Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic in the game store. Both outfits give the heroes a villainous makeover. Invisible Woman's skin, Malice, has a black and red color scheme with spikes and leather straps along her shoulders and face. Mister Fantastic's skin, The Maker, is an elegant dark gray with blue highlights and a mask that covers most of his face. With so much new content to explore, many fans have expressed enthusiasm Marvel Rivals' last season.
