One Piece is heading to Round1 locations in the US and Japan

Round1 Entertainment has officially announced an upcoming collaboration with One Piecewith the beloved series set to take over entertainment complexes in both the US and Japan this July. The Japan-based amusement store chain has been steadily opening U.S. locations since the late 2010s, and Round1 has become a stop for friends and families to enjoy everything from bowling and darts to karaoke, ping pong and video games. The company often collaborates with popular anime and games, and this is upcoming One Piece crossover may be its most hyped takeover yet.

The series has now adopted an annual two-split schedule, meaning only 26 episodes will air each year from now on. This has marked a major change, as the anime has had a continuous year-round schedule since the first episode aired in October 1999. Currently, the Elbaph Arc is underway, following the Straw Hat Pirates and Giant Warrior Pirates as they arrive in Elbaph, while the Holy Knights of God set their sights on annexing the land for the World Government. Those who have wanted to revisit the series but feel intimidated by the sheer amount of filler content have something else to look forward to, like the first trailer for One Piece anime remake on Netflix was officially revealed last week.

One Piece officially becomes the best anime of all time after 29 years

One Piece used to have a subpar anime adaptation, but in February 2027, it will officially become the greatest anime of all time.

One Piece is coming to Round1 locations across the US and Japan starting July 18th

Round1 Entertainment has revealed their upcoming One Piece collaboration, which is scheduled to reach over 100 locations in Japan and 59 locations in the US simultaneously starting on July 18, 2026. The crossover, which will run until October 17th, will release 27 exclusive items and prizes with newly created artwork, along with an amazing set of 10 original trading cards from One Piece Card game. To obtain these cards, visitors must make qualifying reloads to their Round1 Game Card during the event period. As is often the case with Round1 collaborations, participating locations will also include special photo booths, themed tap games, exclusive drinks and more.

Additionally, a special Chopper plush and Gear 5 Luffy figure will appear in certain locations, which will be exclusively available via tap play. Guests who purchase certain beverages or spend a certain amount during their visit will also receive a coupon that gives access to purchase exclusive merchandise, and other giveaways will be held during the event period.

North America One Piece fans have even more to look forward to in 2026, as the first ever One Piece Party in the Region is set to take place at Cosm Los Angeles from August 25 to August 26, 2026. The event will offer an immersive “Elbaph Experience”, special performances, panels, exclusive merchandise and more, with Toei Animation hoping to attract over 7,000 fans to the venue. Notably, Hiroshi Kitadani, artist of the original theme song “We Are!,” will be in attendance, along with Ian Sinclair and Brina Palencia, the English voice actors behind Brook and Tony Tony Chopper, respectively. Additional guests have yet to be revealed.

The One Piece The manga series is also going strong, with writer Eiichiro Oda teasing that the end of Luffy's journey is fast approaching. Originally the pages met off Weekly Shonen Jump 1997, the series has sold over 600 million copies worldwide as of March 2026, making it the best-selling manga series in volume format, as well as the best-selling manga series in history by a landslide.
