A LEGO damn managed to transform the popular Pokémon Eevee was inserted into Pinsir without the use of any extra pieces. LEGO Pokémon sets have been available for just over two months now, but not without issues. When these sets were first revealed and made available for pre-order ahead of the February 27th release, the Kanto Badge collection intended to accompany the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set sold out almost immediately. Likewise, the large $649.99 set soon followed, leaving fans wondering if it would return at release or shortly thereafter.
Pokémon as a hobby is often plagued by scalpers, which is a common problem for the TCG part of the franchise, to the point that a Pokémon the card shop cut out the corners of the booster packs to discourage scalpers. Scalpers were also buying LEGO sets in bulk to resell them online, and the problem is likely to continue as new sets are revealed this year. Still, even with more sets on the way, the number of Pokémon represented in LEGO builds is extremely low compared to how many the series has. Currently, only five animals have a dedicated set, including Eevee.

Pokemon LEGO sets are already going for absolutely ridiculous prices on eBay thanks to Scalpers
The newly announced LEGO Pokemon sets have already started popping up on eBay, with scalpers selling pre-orders of the products at crazy prices.
Custom LEGO Pokemon Pinsir built from the Eevee Set
LEGO fan and skilled builder Minute_Food_2881 shared a post on Reddit showing off yet another of their creations: a Pinsir built entirely from parts from the Eevee set and nothing else. Minute_Food_2881 is known within the LEGO community on Reddit for creating seemingly impossible LEGO builds from existing kits, which they later upload to Rebrickable with instructions for replicating their creations. In this case, Pinsir has a cheerful appearance, but retains all the characteristics that make it a fierce Pokémon.

Minute_Food_2881 recently built LEGO's Deku Tree set from another kit, once again showing their prowess. Speaking of which, the LEGO Deku Tree is officially retiring later this year, so this fan-made build might be the next best thing for those who missed out.
Minute_Food_2881, known on Rebrickable as CreationCanvas, apparently used the fur from LEGO's Eevee Pokémon set to make Pinsir's barbed pincers, as well as its claws. Eevee's legs also appear to have been used to craft Pinsir's own legs, while the movable arms can use the mechanism designed for Eevee's ears. The white parts that make up Pinsir's eyes and teeth are not visible on the outside in the Eevee set, but they are indeed part of it, as seen in brickowl.com's detailed breakdown of the set's parts.
Interestingly, CreationCanvas also built Bidoof from LEGO's Eevee Pokémon set, showing how versatile this set can be in the right hands. The main limitation comes from Eevee's fur color for other Pokémon creations, but even then there are plenty of brown pocket monsters that could hypothetically be made from this LEGO set.
