Konst The clown will die in daylight in November

Art the Clown is officially on his way to Dead by Daylight.

Behavior Interactive announced during the game's tenth anniversary that the Terrifier villain will be joining the multiplayer horror title in November as part of the upcoming Dead by Daylight: Terrifier chapter.

The reveal makes Art the Clown the latest horror icon to enter The Fog, continuing Dead by Daylight's tradition of crossing over with some of the genre's most recognizable characters. Behavior described Art as a “newly released horror icon” and confirmed that the chapter is scheduled to launch later this year.

The Terrifier collaboration follows a busy release schedule for Dead by Daylight. Jason Voorhees arrives on June 16 through the Dead by Daylight: Jason chapter, while the original Survivor-focused The Life Road chapter launches on June 25. August also sees the release of Chorus of Sin, the game's first chapter developed entirely in collaboration with its community.

Behavior also teased future content stretching into 2027, including a chapter based on The Casting of Frank Stone, further expanding the game's growing horror universe.

After sitting through the Terrifier movies, I can safely say that Art the Clown has tested my limits more than most horror villains. The character's cheerful brutality makes him stand out even in a genre filled with monsters and killers. That's why it's fascinating to see him enter a roster alongside comparatively tame crossover killers like Demogorgon and Ghost Face. Dead by Daylight has always paid homage to horror's greatest icons, but few come with Art's reputation for pure discomfort.
