Instead of obvious character choices like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader, Kingdom Hearts 4 could shine a spotlight on characters who have dabbled with both sides of the force or have strayed from the Jedi Council in pursuit of following the light rather than following the rules of the Order.

Even without the problem of dealing with dark versus light, one Star Wars World is a tall order for Square Enix to take on. As exciting as that would be, it creates a pretty big lose-lose situation. There are so many beloved characters and environments that it feels impossible to pick just a handful of them. No matter which one Star Wars The character is chosen, there will be disappointment that others did not make it.
Square Enix has been tight-lipped Kingdom Hearts 4s release date, but rumors and leaks have suggested a 2027 launch is possible. Such claims should be met with a healthy dose of skepticism. But a 2027 release would be the perfect time, as it would be the 25th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Kingdom Hearts 4 add Marvel Comics characters or a Star Wars world is the obvious move, as they are two of the biggest Disney franchises now, but it might actually be best to leave them out and focus solely on Disney's original IP. But of course only time will tell. Waiting for an official Kingdom Hearts 4 release dates are getting longer by the day, but this year hopefully marks the moment when Square Enix finally announces when fans can expect to dive into a new Kingdom Hearts game.
