How to start and complete the Wish Upon A Jirachi event in Pokemon Pokopia

Pokemon Pokopias latest event, Wish Upon A Jirachi, is now live, and through it, players can unlock tons of new wish furniture for their world as well as invite Jirachi to move in permanently.

The event is coming starts automatically on June 23, 2026 at 05:00 local time and continues through July 8 at 04.59 local time. Requirements for the event are to have rebuilt the Pokemon Center in the parched wasteland and completed all other important quests for the area.

Where to find Jirachi and start the event

Jirachi is standing in front of Ditto in front of the Pokemon Center in Pokemon Pokopia.

As long as you have rebuilt the Pokemon Center, you should see Jirachi floating around outside the Pokemon Center of the Withered Wasteland. If they are not there, double check that your game is up to date and that your time zone is not set incorrectly.

Speaking of which, you also need an online connection to start the eventas Nintendo has fixed the time jump loophole which players used to access event content early by adding this requirement.

If you meet the requirements when the event has already started, you'll need to move to another region or save and exit the game to refresh things and get Jirachi to start.

When you see Jirachi, go talk to themand they'll tell you about something called Wish Notes, and more importantly, Sparkling Wish Notes, which you'll be able to trade with them inside the Pokemon Center for various starry furniture during the event.

During this conversation, Jirachi will hand over the recipe for standard Wish Notesand inform you about it to turn them into Sparkling Wish Notes, you must give them to Pokemon before completing their requests. Once their requests are complete, the wish tag will activate and begin to sparkle before they return it.

With Sparkling Wish Notes you can go back to Jirachi inside the Pokemon Center and buy items from the small pop-up shopsome of which you need for Jirachi's habitat. And that's pretty much it.

There is no special task to perform for Jirachi during this event, other than what was mentioned, as the main purpose of the event is to introduce Jirachi and give you access to the furniture. So make sure to do it buy everything while you can, because everything in the store will be gone once the event is over.

How to get sparkly wish notes

Ditto looks at Sliggoo who has a request in Pokemon Pokopia.

As mentioned, you cannot create Sparkling Wish Notes, but you can create regular Wish Notes after talking to Jirachi. The the recipe will be listed under the Other tab of the craft table and requires Vines only as the crafting ingredient. Vines can be collected from the habitats of grass-type Pokémon or obtained by cutting hanging vines with the Cut ability.

Once you've created some wish notes, look out for any Pokemon that has a speech bubble over their head indicating that they need help or have a problem. Talk to them to hear their concerns, and Ditto will automatically hand over a wish note for them to keep. Once you've completed the request, return to the Pokemon, and they'll hand over a Sparkling Wish Note.

Most of the requests will be simple tasks, like adding a piece of furniture to their habitat or cooking them a specific food item, so you should be able to do several each day. In addition, don't forget to check each area for more requestsnot just the withered wasteland.

How to build Jirachi's habitat

Jirachi's habitat, which you must build to invite them to move in permanently after the event ends, can be built using any of the materials from the store.

Specifically, you'll need the following items to create Jirachi's habitat:

1x Starry Sky Bed
1x cloud table
1x star cabinet
1x Jirachi lamp (This must be powered by electricity to register the habitat)

After building the Surrounded By Stars habitat, you must wait until the event is over to invite Jirachi to move in. Until then, you can find them inside the Pokemon Center running their shop, day or night.
