How to set up and pass on heirlooms in The Sims 4

How to create heirlooms in The Sims 4

To create an inheritance i The Sims 4players must select an item and then click the “Make Heirloom” interaction in the pie menu. Not all items can be made heirlooms, but players still choose this option for a wide variety of items.

For example, appliances and many other household items cannot be set as heirlooms. It's about what would make sense to pass on to a younger generation. Nevertheless, there are still some unlikely items that can be made into heirlooms. How to Convey Inheritance in The Sims 4

To choose who will receive a specific inheritance, players can interact with it and select the “Show inheritance to…” option or update their will and select the “Inheritance…” option. Both of these interactions allow players to select an heirloom and assign it to a specific recipient.

When the Sim dies, the heirloom disappears from their household or inventory and is sent to the designated recipient along with the Sim's will. The deceased sim's will comes in the mail and whoever receives it can read it out loud or give it to another sim to do. Anyway, when a will has been read aloud The Sims 4the assigned inheritances will be distributed to their recipientsand arrives in their personal belongings or household belongings.

Interacting with an older generation's heirloom gives players the ability to pass it on to the next generation, pawn the heirloom, think of its original owner, or call sims, which can cause their ghost to appear. However, the latter will not happen if the original owner experienced Rebirth.
