Disney Dreamlight Valley released its second DLC earlier this month – The Storybook Vale – and there are plenty of brand new materials, quests and new recipes for players to enjoy locked into this new expansion. One of the new recipes is Faerie Rye Crackers, which are sparkly little pink crackers. This recipe is quite simple and is one of many new recipes from The Storybook Vale expansion.
With many new materials and ingredients added from the expansion, players can make many new recipes to keep their health up while playing Disney Dreamlight Valley. Unfortunately, players who don't own the expansion won't be able to craft recipes from it, as the items are locked to DLC. This guide will explain how to make Faerie Rye Crackers.

How to make Faerie Rye Crackers in DDV
Upon arriving in Storybook Vale, players can transition to the Everafter biome. Players will need 2,000 Story Magic to help remove a large Ink gate on the left side of the Library of Lore. Once the player has unlocked the Everafter region, they can find Goofy's stablewhere they can reset it to unlock it.
After unlocking this stable, players will find the ingredients needed to make Faerie Rye Crackers. Players need to keep an eye out for Faerie Rye or Faerie Rye Seedas this is the only ingredient needed. After collecting this item, head towards a cooking station and throw in just Faerie Rye and a piece of charcoal.
If the player cannot find any Faerie Rye but only the seeds, it is important to note that the location of where this seed grows matters. If the player wants to plant the seed within the Everafter region, it only takes 1 hour and 7 ½ minutes to complete. If the player chooses to grow this seed outside of the Everafter region, it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. Another important note is that the player will need to level stable up to Level 2 to start receiving seeds from Goofy's stable.
After cooking, players will be rewarded with the knowledge to cook Faerie Rye Crackers. The recipe is a one-star dish and will recover a total of 126 energy points if the player eats the meal. Faerie Rye Crackers are classified as an appetizer in The Storybook Vale collection. This one star meal can be sold for 74 star coins.
This dish is adorable to make and since it doesn't give a lot of energy, some players might just want to use it as decoration in their house since it can be placed on a table by dropping the item and going into edit mode and moving the dish on top of a nearby table.
