As you may have noticed in ParalivesParapeople go through different emotions and needs during the day. They also have their own life goals compared to their siblings or other family members, and they form relationships in their own way. All of this comes from the personality traits set during character creation, such as Vibes, Talents, and Social Perks.
The good news is that you can develop your character's personality into something more rewarding later in the game, helping them become more talented, skilled, and better at managing their lives. For those wondering, here's how to raise your Parafolk's personality Paralives.

Paralive's Cleaning Guide (How to Clean Your House)
Wondering how to clean the dirty tub, toilet, sink and moldy walls in your Parafolk household in Paralives? This is how you do it!
How to upgrade personality in Paralives
To level up your Parafolk's personality traits Paralivesyou must collect personality experience points, which you get by completing these tasks:
- Fulfill daily wishes
- Complete long-term life goals.
Each successful achievement gives you x1 Personality Point, which goes into a progression pool.
Initially, you need 30 of these experience points to level up once (which means you have to complete a total of 30 wishes and life goals).
When you reach it, a big “Personality level up” message pops up, just like other skill upgrades.
After that, players can:
- Go to the profile icon
- Select the Level Up button
- Choose which aspect of a character's aura, social perk, or talent to improve
At each level, part of a Parafolk's personality can be raised. For example, if Fitness is your primary talent, upgrade options might include:
-
No sweat (the need for hygiene does not decrease when you exercise)
-
Happy exerciser (+2 happy when you exercise)
-
Sweat it out! (Each hour of training has a 33% chance to remove a random negative emotional reaction below level 3)
Players can only choose one of the given choices. Once completed, they can grind for the next level and unlock another trait.
How to get and fulfill wishes in Paralives
Unlike real life, the game treats Parafolk's requests as temporary requests or tasks that must be completed before the end of the day. Otherwise, they are reset, except for stuck ones.
To receive new requests Paralivesselect emotes marked with a reaction icon (exclamation mark), then select one of the available wishes for the day.
Players can have up to four wishes at a time. When a Para feels a craving for something, simply perform the necessary task to fulfill it. This could include increasing dancing skills, watching television for two hours, or interacting or flirting with someone.
How to get and complete life goals in Paralives
Your townspeople also get long-term goals that can be checked off at any time, unlike wishes, which are short-lived. Life goals are given primarily through the storytelling system. Each morning, your Para is presented with three Story Cards (or packs that can also offer statistical improvements in areas such as work and relationships).
This may include a Life Goals Pack, which appears randomly. When chosen, Para gets a set of new goal options to work towards, such as owning a big house or starting a family.
Once you've chosen one, you can just jump into the goal section (and pin it if you want) and then continue to complete related tasks. More precisely, a life goal can include several smaller tasks that keep the player engaged. For example, a life goal related to owning a large house might include two challenges: buying a house for 40,000 Paradimes and 1,000 Paradimes decorative items.
